One score and five years ago, John was born in a log cabin in the middle of the woods of Illinois. It's all quite fuzzy, and to be honest, he really doesn't remember the whole ordeal. But that mysterious and certainly epic birth set him on a path that led to 2012, when he joined staff with The Navigators at the University of Nebraska-Kearney! Hey all! Sorry that it's been so long since you've heard from me! It's been a bumpy road for the last two weeks (I've been sick), but I am feeling much better now.
I am currently at Glen Eyrie in Colorado Springs for my EDGE Corps training! I've been here since the 20th and will be leaving on the 30th. It's been a great time of fellowship with other EDGErs and digging deep into God's plan and purpose for our next year of ministry. We've been given so many tools and resources to utilize as we go out on campus in the fall. We're all pretty pumped!
*Prayer Update* I'm 75% funded and will be leading a team at the Summer Training Program in Jacksonville, FL! Praise God!
*Prayer Request* Please pray for team unity and closeness even though I will be arriving 4 days late to the program. I will be flying to JAX on May 30th and will meet them for the first time that day! I will be living with and discipling them for the next 2 months. Pray that these women would have teachable hearts and a desire to be in the Word and grow deeper in their relationship with Christ.
