I would have to say mine is my son's closet. Not having much space for storage, we utilized an Elfa system to maximize vertical space. Every time I open his closet I feel a sense of calm and happiness!
A secret to helping your kids know how to find things are and how to put things away? Labels!

This is a great example of why we encourage decluttering and pairing down during the process of organizing. By minimizing the amount of "stuff," you have considerably less to store, thus making the art of organizing and maintaining much more manageable!
I think in our house I'd have to say toilet paper. The need to replenish never ends! Anyone else feel me? ๐ ๐โโ๏ธ
A great example of why labeling is so important! Gone are the days of not knowing what toys and supplies are in this closet! After a fun day of arts and crafts and playing with her dolls, there is no guessing which container things go back into. Think of all the mental energy that is saved! And the organizational system that will continue to stay in place for a long time to come.

Have a lot of beauty products that need organizing? We have people for that.
Sometimes it can be really overwhelming to know where to start. It can be easy to think that organizing always has to be a big project where you set aside a lot of time and laser focus on a large space to turn it around.
That isn't always true.
Big progress can be made by finding a few small things a day. You can set aside 5-10 minutes a day and see what you can get finished in that time frame. You can choose one drawer a day, one shelf a day. Organizing can be done the way that best suits you and your capacity.
Take the time you have and the energy you have and take a small step. That's progress!

We seriously have the best clients.
Hereโs a little secret: Itโs much more difficult for an area to become cluttered if you can contain and label!
Is 6 months a hard and fast rule? No. Is it generally a good indicator of whether or not youโre likely to repair something? Iโd say itโs close.
Sometimes letting go can clear up space not only in your home, but also in your mind.
Part of being organized is being intentional in our conversations. At the end of the day, instead of asking your child "how was your day?", try these instead.
โค๏ธ Who did you play with today?
โค๏ธ What was the best part of your day?
โค๏ธ Who did you eat lunch with today?
โค๏ธ What is something you are grateful for today?
โค๏ธ Whatโs a moment you would do over?
โค๏ธ What was the hardest part of your day?
โค๏ธ What did you play at recess or outdoor time today?
Many new kitchens are being designed with less upper cabinets leaving the question of where to put the plates. Plates can be stored in a drawer close to the dishwasher. You are already bending over to retrieve the dishes from the lower rack. Try placing them in a lower drawer next to the dishwasher. Comment for a link to the product we used.

A little decluttering inspiration! Next time you're decluttering a room, ask yourself when the last time was that you used an item. You may surprise yourself!
An easy tip for organization when it comes to the kitchen.
When kids reach the appropriate age, store their snacks and dishes at their level. This gives them the opportunity to help with chores such as unloading their dishes from the dishwasher and putting away their snacks after a grocery run!
What tips do you have?
