Boy Scout Troop 55 has spent the last week enjoying all the adventures and activities that Goose Pond Scout Reservation had to offer. It was a fantastic week spent with the outstanding staff learning new scouting skills! Can't wait to see you all around the Pond next year!

Troop 55 getting into the holiday spirit on December 6th, Saint Nicholas Day, by helping out Saint Nicholas with the toy collection mass.

Just wanted to let everyone know how much was collected for Ian's Eagle Scout Project on the weekend of November18th and 19th. It was about 45 contractor bags full of clothing which was approximately 500 items. All the items were dropped off at St Vincent DePaul kitchen for distribution. Thank you to everyone who dropped off donations and helped out on this project.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on this Thanksgiving Holiday from Troop 55.

Help support one of our scouts in his Eagle Scout project. We will be accepting new and gently used clean coats, gloves, hats, shirts, pants of all sizes for men, women and children. Also accepting new and unopened socks. Donations will be given to St. Vincent de Paul Kitchen and will be distributed to those in need. Collections will happen this weekend at St Nicholas Church Wilkes-Barre before and after the masses. Collection times: Saturday, Nov. 18th from 4pm to 6pm and Sunday, Nov. 19th from 8am to 12pm. Please drop off donations in the rear parking lot area of St. Nicholas Church - Wilkes-Barre.

Troop 55 had the pleasure of attending Goose Pond Scout Reservation last week, what an amazing staff and camp! We were very fortunate to be paired up with an outstanding Troop at the Shawnee camp site. Many thanks to our friends from Boy Scout Troop 133 for their warm friendship for the entire week. We look forward to seeing you all again, " Around the Pond" next year!
