JRE has a Relay for Life Team and they are hosting an online silent auction open to everyone!!!!

Instructions for Bidding:
Fill out the Bidder Form before bidding on any baskets.

Each Basket has a link at the top of the form that allows you to see the current bids - please check before entering your bid to ensure it is the highest. There is also a basket description that shows if there is a minimum bid required due to the value of the basket.

The site will remain live until THURSDAY (2/29) @ 8 PM. Winners will be contacted - please plan to pay and pick up baskets on Friday 3/1 (but no later than Monday 3/4).

Did you know JRE has a Relay for Life Team that helps raise money for the American Cancer Society? Well, we do and so do a lot of WJCC schools, and we are in friendly "competition" with each other for donation amounts and number of participants. This year we want to go big with our support of survivors, loved ones, and the community at large. The PTA is helping spread the word for this amazing event. Relay For Life | Cancer Walk | Cancer Fundraising Events Relay For Life events are life-changing cancer fundraising events that help communities across the globe fight back against cancer.

Thank you so so so much to the 600+ people that came to join us for our 2nd annual Trunk or Treat. We hope you had as much fun as we did!!! Can't wait to see who wins the trunk decorating contest!!!

We're getting ready for our second annual Trunk or Treat! We're excited to have the Colonial Williamsburg Junior Fifes & Drums joining us this year for a special performance. To make this family event a success, WE NEED CANDY! If you would like to donate candy, you can send it in with your student or drop it off in the front office. Thanks for your support!

James River Elementary invites you to our Back to School Kickball Kickoff on Thursday, September 28th, 5:00-6:30PM. Adults and teachers will compete with each other in friendly competition. Live DJ! Free pizza! Bounce house, carnival games, and shaved ice for purchase! Come celebrate the new school with us!

We'll see our NEW Kindergarten Familes at 3 for a special meet and greet - bring along anyone you know that still needs to register a Kindergartener. If you came to Journey over the summer you are welcome for regular open house and do not need to come early.

Grades 1-5 we'll see you from 4-6 pm like always.

Book fair starts this week! Your students will have an opportunity it’s to visit the book fair with their class and purchase some books. They will stay open until 4:00 on Thursday to give parents the opportunity to shop with their students if they wish too.
