Another adult recital is in the books! So proud of each of my adult students. They accomplished a lot and I am super excited to see what the next year will bring 🎹

So proud of this young man! Luke has been taking piano lessons with me since he was 5 years old. Over the past few years, he has cultivated an intense passion for music, particularly jazz, and has decided to pursue it as a career. Luke has received acceptance offers from JMU and the University of Denver Lamont School of Music. His top choice is the University of Miami Frost School of Music. Here’s hoping he gets accepted to the school of his dreams! 🤞

Tanya is my little trooper. She broke her arm riding a bike and was still able to continue her practice in the cast ❤️‍🩹

Last night my student Luke performed Fantasie Impromptu by Chopin at the master class sponsored by Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra with Jon Nakamatsu.
Luke is seventeen years old and studied piano with me since he was 4 years old. He enjoys jazz, and performs with Jamestown High School jazz, marching bands and conducted the pit orchestra for 2023 JHS spring musical Mean Girls. He also serves as professional Fifer in the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes & Drums Corps. He has been a Senior Corps member and Fifes instructor since January 2022.

Our end of the year concert is coming up on June 3rd. We will have to performances at 10 am and and 12 pm at the college of W&M, Ewell Hall. Both concerts are free and open to the public. I hope to see you all there!

The last few months were super busy. With two recitals in February and the Federation of the Music club festival in March we are now officially on a Spring Break 💕
Please take this two weeks to relax and also find some time to practice! The end of the Year recital is coming up on June 3rd!

Please join us for the Christmas Concert on December 17th at the College of William and Mary. Students of Nadia School of Music, LLC will perform their favorite Christmas carols at 10 am and and 11:30 am. The concert is free and open to the public. 🎄🎹

I received this card in the mail today from one of my students, who spent his summer in Paris. This means so much to me knowing that I make a difference in my students’ lives!

Makes me so happy to see my students smiling at the lesson. You can see the resemblance between these two 😉🎹
