Due to a shortage of staff, the pool will be closing at 5:00pm tomorrow, July 18th. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Swim Lesson participants will not be able to get in the water this morning due to having to shock the pool. There will be out of water activities for the kids to participate in and possible use of the spray pool. Thank you for your understanding.

The Township Office and the Recreation Center will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024, and Friday, July 5, 2024.

The mulch pile and dog park will be open regular hours on both Thursday and Friday.

Lifeguard Certification Class - There is still time to register for the lifeguard certification class. Registration closes on June 21st. The pre-test is on June 24th at 9am and the class takes place July 8th - 12th from 8am - 1:00pm. Working as a lifeguard is a great opportunity for a rewarding summer job. Monday - Thursday - 1:pm to 7:45pm
Friday - Sunday - 1:00pm to 6:45pm

Senior & Adult Lap Swim:
Daily from 12pm to 1pm

CLOSED - The Dog Park will be closed until 12pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, for maintenance.

The Loyalsock Pool will be open this weekend for Memorial Day!

Spring Cleanup is Monday!

Loyalsock Township will be holding one spring clean-up on Monday, May 20, 2024, to pick up yard waste. All items must be placed out between the curb and sidewalk PRIOR TO 7:00AM. The crew will only go through the township once during each scheduled collection, so if your items are not out they will NOT go back to pick them up at a later time.

This pick up is for residential properties within the township only. There will be no commercial pick up.

Summer Employment Opportunities!

Loyalsock Township is looking to hire a Summer Youth Staff Member, Lifeguards, and Swim Team Coaches for the upcoming summer season. Both the Township Office and the Recreation Center will be closed for Good Friday on Friday, March 29, 2024.

The Dog Park and Mulch Pile will be open regualr hours on both Friday, March 29, 2024, and Saturday, March 30, 2024. They will both be closed on Sunday, March 31, 2024.

Summer Positions Available!!
Do you enjoy working with children and want to work outside this summer? Loyalsock Township is looking for a Summer Youth Coordinator and 1 Summer Youth Staff member to work at their Summer Youth Program in Bruce Henry Park. The hours are M-F from 8:30am - 3:00pm. The program runs from June 17 - August 16.
We are also hiring certified lifeguards for the Loyalsock Pool. If you are interested in any of these positions, applications can be obtained from our website, by emailing [email protected], or by stopping by the Recreation Office at 1607 Four Mile Drive. For question please call 570-567-7525.

❗️ The Kids Soccer program is cancelled for Saturday, January 6th, due to the predicted weather. The make up date is March 2nd.

New Years Holiday Hours -

The Township Office, Recreation Center, Mulch Pile, and Dog Park will all be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024, for New Years.

Christmas Holiday Hours:

Both the Loyalsock Township Office and Recreation Center will be closed on Monday, December 25, 2023, and Tuesday, December 26, 2023. We will reopen at 7:30am on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

The Mulch Pile will be closed on Sunday, December 24, 2023, and Monday, December 25, 2023. The mulch pile will resume normal hours on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

The Dog Park will be closed on Sunday, December 24, 2023, and Monday, December 25, 2023. The dog park will resume normal hours on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
