From suncatchers to large stained glass panels, I turn your ideas into art š¼ļøšŖ·
I make everything out of glass studio I share with my father (NakedGlassStudio)
I've finished soldering half of the tree on its front side! Prior to soldering, I applied restrip, a thin metal strip, to reinforce the glass and provide extra support to areas susceptible to breakage when upright. Shaping restrip requires caution due to its sharp edges, which can cut fingers if mishandled; I learned this the hard way, slicing my fingers twice. I look forward to finishing up this side before flipping it over to the back!
Tree of life update!!
I've completed the leaf overlay, and now I'm ready to solder - it's amazing to see my simple tree sketch come to life. I'm astonished.
Tree of Life update: all the glass is cut, ground, and foiled. I used two types of green for the leaves and added small pieces of the sky. This will look completely different when light passes through it. I'm very happy with the progress. The only tasks left are the leaf overlay, soldering and polishing, and the wooden frame.
Finished sky and started branches in Tree of Life update. Camera doesnāt pick up on the translucent pieces and smaller details, but the glass choice for the sky enhances overall contrast, as I chose a more translucent blue. I didnāt want the sky to take attention off of the tree. My expectations for this project have been exceeded. Very happy with this treeās growth!
Tree of Life update!
I'm pleased with my progress so far. The textured brown glass and gold iridescent are my favorite additions. I plan to weave in more as I go along. Before working on the leaves and branches, I'll focus on the sky pieces.
Stay tuned for more updates!
Tree of life update! It sure is coming along š
UPDATE***
The edge pieces are cut and foiled! I chose this pink iridescent and flipped the textured side to the front. The smoother side screamed iridescence, so it was too harsh for what I was looking for. But with the rough texture, the light hits it perfectly.
I am grateful to have my dad here to help teach me some cutting techniques for the bigger pieces. Iāve never worked on a glass project of this size. I have much to learn.
Now onto the tree trunk! š
Just got my tree of life pattern in from www.panedexpressions.com ! I sketched out the tree I had in my mindās eye and these lovely people brought it to life in an actual pattern. Iām going to get to work!
FINALLY! The lighthouse is all finished. It has a black patina and zinc frame. Iāve been itching to share these photos.
It is ready to be re-homed as soon as someone adopts it for $160. If youāre interested, please reach out!

Small update- I soldered the rocks! Moving onto side B š
Taking my time with this one. Almost finished soldering side A. Iām going to take time separately to solder the Van Gogh glass at the bottom. I have to be careful with the flux (acid applied before soldering) because if I leave it on too long, it will ruin the special metallic pattern.
Iām getting there!
Take advantage of this opportunity to purchase a mushroom moon on sale for $80! š š

So close!! I had limited time in the studio tonight, so this is as far as I got with copper foiling. I love the way the light catches the foil to the left of the lighthouse. So excited to see those Van Gogh pieces foiled. Then Iāll be onto soldering!
I found this lighthouse pattern and had to do it. Itās more minimalistic compared to some other lighthouse patterns Iāve seen. But I feel it allows more of an opportunity to experiment with different types of glass. I used silver Van Gogh glass for the rocks and iridescent for the sky. Iām loving it so far!!
I will keep posting updates on my progress. Keep a look out! š

I had this finished at the end of March but needed to wait to share it because it was someoneās gift to a loved one. Here we have the Cherokee feathers, with the turquoise and yellow colors to symbolize and honor the Cherokee culture. Below, I have pasted a link that further explains the meaning behind the specific colors.

Just finished this suncatcher! I havenāt been posting all of my recent work because some are gifts and it just hasnāt been the right time. But this one- I want to keep for myself. I havenāt kept any of my projects yet, and this one is calling to me.
āSundanceā
Here is another cardinal Iāve been waiting to share! I made it for my Grandmother. This is the first one with yellow flowers, instead of orange or pink. The yellow glass pieces had been sitting around for months, and I was curious as to what project they would be used for. So glad they went into this one šš
I have been waiting patiently to share the projects Iāve been working on over the last few months. I had to keep all of them a secret because these were specially crafted Christmas presents! I hope everyone enjoys them just as much as I loved creating them ā„ļø.
Christmas is right around the corner! šš

I made this lotus flower a couple weeks ago because I loved the pattern. I really enjoyed the whole process of creating it, and it is my favorite of the lotuses. Iāve considered keeping it for myself, but I know it would make someone happier.
I am listing it at $95. If youāre interested, contact me either here or through my business email [email protected]
