This is Earl. 7 month old shihtzu. Got his first haircut today. He was a little nervous and wanted to lay down most the time. Super good for his bath and blow dry. I love him so much, hoping we will be best friends soon!!!❤️❤️❤️

Update: as of 02/13/2024, ALL cats that were available for adoption have either been adopted or pulled by New Hanover County Humane Society.
There will be more cats coming once they are altered.
Here are the cats that are available for adoption.
Adoption hours are Monday - Friday 11-3:30 & Saturday 8-11:30

Here are the animals we have available for adoption at this time.
Adoption hours will be Thursday from 11-3:30 and then adoptions will open back up on December 28 at 11am.
Please keep in mind that if you have another dog, a meet and greet is required. Also if you have any children, we are now asking for you to bring your children with you as we do not test our dogs with kids. We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.
