I have 5 kittens that are looking for rescues or fosters/adopters.

A house was getting demoed and the construction workers admitted that they heard them, but they decided to cut the supports for the subflooring and crushed momma kitty. No idea how the kittens made it out unscathed.

I estimate them to be between 3 and 4 weeks old. If there is someone experienced who can take some, that would be amazing. As my business is "in-your-home" services, I'm away too much to be able to give them the care they need. If I have to make it work, I can, but help is much appreciated.

We use AT&T and they have towers down all across Wilmington that is preventing us from using data. We can only take phone calls at this time, unless on wifi.

I just got off the phone with and was assured that it will be fixed by tomorrow, Saturday, March 30th at 8am.

Unfortunately this means that any of our team that is on AT&T cannot utilize the app or browser to communicate arrival times, departures, send photos, or process changes or new service requests until they get somewhere that they have wifi.

Please note, our services ARE still happening. If you have given us wifi information for your home, you will not be affected by this.

It's been a long time coming, but has happened so fast when you really think about it. I love this article. It captures our passions, expertise, professionalism, and compassion.

I couldn't have asked for a better team. I love my girls and would drop everything if they ever needed me to as they have done for me in the past.

Story time:

A couple weeks back I was at a client's in a neighboring town and could not get away. I got a phone call from my mother who was watching my dogs. She informed me that my dog, Hopper, had eaten what was left of a 1 pound snack size chocolate candy bag. She told me that it had been a few hours so I knew the time had passed that I would be able to do anything about it myself. Knowing that I couldn't leave where I was, I started to panic.

I called Kat and told her what had happened; that Hopper was pacing, drooling, and throwing up all of the things. Katy was down by Carolina beach and I live near North Chase. It was right around 5:20pm, so of course, there was really bad traffic. She dropped everything she was doing so that she could rush across town to try to get to my dog. She called MaKayla, who was out in Leland and who had just finished cooking her dinner, and she also dropped everything and ran out to her car and raced to my house. The idea was who ever got there first would take care of him. They got there within minutes of each other. They took Hopper to the emergency vet where he got his stomach pumped. They stayed with him until I got there and even then, MaKayla stayed with me until we were released. I know Katy would have too if she didn't have another place to be. The vet said Hopper didn't consume enough of the chocolate to reach a toxic level because it was milk chocolate and he's a larger breed dog (roughly 70lbs) but that they were very concerned about the wrappers. She did come back and say that she got quite a lot of wrappers from M&M's, twix, and snickers.

The next morning, I called Katy and told her that I finally knew what it was like to have us as a pet sitter. I could not be more grateful that both of them dropped everything they were doing to go save my dog. Hopper would have absolutely died if he had not been taken to the vet at all and had we waited much longer the $400 vet bill would have easily turned into thousands of dollars for an emergency surgery and of course, there's always risks when there's surgery.

The point being, if you want someone to love and care for your pets, we will go above and beyond. Even if it's an emergency, we will do what we can to help. 💜
