Seriously, this girl brings the VARIETY! 🎥 Now, she’s bringing these diverse experiences to Brave Creative, creating amazing social media videos and content with us! 🙌

Our fearless leader, Tori Gatanis , participated in The Conscious Career Collective's Boss Babe Forum over the weekend at Lemon Tree Wellness Collective Embodiment Studio as a panelist talking about (the silly little monster that is) imposter syndrome. It was an honor and privilege to sit in a room and listen to Tori and these women get real honest, real vulnerable, and in that, real powerful all together.

Feeling so grateful to live in a city full of so many impressive, cool, authentic, amazing women. May we continue to lift up and support one another. 💞

We’re a team of girl’s girls (if you know, you know), so taking a minute today to appreciate the amazing women that we get to work with was a no brainer. 🫶

Make sure to celebrate the awesome women in your life today by texting your friends, calling your mom, posting about your sister, literally however you wanna do it and letting them know that actually, women should be celebrated every dang day. 💁‍♀️ If you identify as a woman, we strongly suggest some self-love today too. It was another busy week for the Brave Creative gals, so this will be us tonight, but instead of wine & pizza we will be eating oysters & drinking cocktails at Coworx’s mixer. 🌙🍸

A week is never the same for us, so here’s a little recap of some of the fun things we did (minus our time spent in front of our computer/phones because we figured that wasn’t as interesting haha):

MON: Had our weekly Monday meeting at Concorde Espresso Bar in the morning and Salt + Charm’s Wedding Tasting Event at at night. 🥂

TUES: Had our photoshoot & content creation meeting for the month of March, then hopped over to Beat St Street Food for a quick reel with Chef Kevin for Feast Wilmington. 🤳

WED: Met with the We Are True Blue team for our weekly marketing meeting and had a Ponysaurus Brewing Co. Wilmington shoot with Matt Ray Photography for FEAST. 🍻

THURS: Spent the morning with Jud, the owner of Wrightsville Beach Brewery and Matt Ray (again, no we don’t get tired of hanging out with him) and then grabbed a quick video with Roz from Whats Up Wilmington for FEAST. To end the day, we got content of $1 oysters and half priced wine at True Blue Butcher and Barrel. 🦪

FRI: TODAY, we’re heading to The Shed to celebrate their GRAND OPENING (so excited for them) and then we will be in The Cargo District for the night boppin’ around to CoWorx’s mixer, Fried Fruit Gallery’s exhibition, and Craft Cabana’s grand opening to end the week! 🥳

When designing this bad boy, we wanted to make it feel less like pages and pages of traditional ads and more like an engaging story, mimicking an editorial. Each small business that we worked with has its own moment, while still being part of the overall community feel.

The Cargo District is wildly special to us and this was a labor of love that was incredibly rewarding for us to see in print. We hope you pick up a copy and feel a little bit of what it’s like to be in the neighborhood!

Hi, Tori here! I just wanted a permanent spot on our feed where I took a minute to reflect, because most of the time things move so fast (especially in the marketing world) that I forget to just say, “hey that was cool.”

Yesterday, our vision, that we’ve had for a very long time, for a Brave Creative shoot finally came to fruition. Seeing my team and our brand in action made me feel all of the emotions. I will list some of them real quick: Excitement, pride, admiration, happiness 🥹

AND we were lucky enough to be photographed by THE Matthew Ray?! Matt has been nothing but supportive of us since Brave Creative began, and for that I am eternally, irrevocably grateful. ALSO, can we take a minute to appreciate the amazing space that is .studio?! We had so much fun creating in there and the vibes were perfection.

What a pinch me moment that we’ve worked hard to get to. Ok that’s it for now, I just needed a documented sappy small business accomplishment moment. A big thank you to everyone who believes in our creative brains!

The perks of the job: Spending our Taco Tuesday getting content of Islands Fresh Mex Grill new frozen margs with Matthew Ray (Matt Slay to us). If you were wondering, yes the frozen margs were delicious.

One month ago, we moved into our NEW OFFICE in Coworx on Castle! 🥳

With a new office comes new decor to inspire the creative mind...of course. Our first addition to the new space? Easy. custom After The Bloom dried florals, because supporting a fellow Wilmington small business is our jam.

All we had to do was give Liz, owner and florist of After the Bloom, our new color palette and branding and they created the most precious dried floral arrangements for our office.

When brainstorming what the look and feel of Brave Creative was going to be, we wanted to make sure we stayed true to what we believed in while reflecting the work we produce and the energy we bring to our clients brands.

Our new color palette encapsulates the vast array of brands we are lucky enough to represent. The intention….to make you the star of the show.

Why did we change our name? A great question that deserves an answer! Now, the term "creative" is in the forefront of our title, where it belongs. 😌

When it comes to digital marketing, we have always believed that better results come from collaboration and authenticity. While our name may have changed, our mission and values remain the same!

Our new look supports all of our original reasons for opening a marketing agency and we are so excited to share it with you.
