Hey everyone! We’ve just got the automated muscle dojo set up here in Wilmington, and I’m excited to start teaching people, the strength exercise branch of automated muscle, The Metronome Method.

I’ll explain more detail in the future exactly what the Metronome Method entails, but in brief, it is a series of practices that more or less ensure a successful work out. I’ve spent the last 25 years studying how to make sure a bad workout is a rarity. It all comes down to the art of training attention.

In addition to training people in person at The Automated Muscle Dojo with the Metronome Method, I’ve begun working online with clients as well. My typical rate is $400 a month. For that month, we will meet twice through video, and interact through a shared journal 2 to 3 times a week. in addition, I’ll also program your training. The entire structure of my training program is designed to continuously improve your concentration and engagement with your exercise. I can almost guarantee that once you’ve learned the methodology, we’ve developed, your workouts will never be the same.

As a way to gain some traction so that I can broadly teach this method, I’m offering a free 30 minute consultation to anyone who’d like to learn more. , if you wind up signing up for a month of us working together, I’ll reduce the rate to $350 a month. I’m doing this for this month only.

I’m really excited to teach what we’ve developed. It’s a skill set that goes way beyond your workout.

Hello everyone. Al from Automated Muscle here with my second post. Today’s topic is attentional cueing during the performance of exercise.

Today, I would like to discuss the concept of attentional cueing during exercise performance. Specifically, I will focus on the difference between internal cueing and external cueing. Internal cues refer to cues that are related to the body or the individual performing the exercise, while external cues are related to the environment. Research has consistently shown that focusing on external cues leads to better motor performance, as it allows for a smoother and more efficient sequence of movements. On the other hand, internal cues can disrupt this process because they rely on the individual's own selection of movements, rather than allowing the intended outcome to guide the sequence. So, what does this mean for teaching exercise? It means that we need to incorporate both internal and external cues. In order to be proficient in exercise, individuals should be able to effectively utilize both types of cues. While many people on social media may have impressive physiques, their ex*****on of exercises may not be as precise. This is because exercise is often promoted for its overall effect, rather than the perfection of each movement. However, if you want to continue improving and learning from your training, it is important to strive for precision. Just like a craftsman, you need to focus on the details and make each exercise appear effortless. Stay tuned for more insights on this topic.
