Rulmeca Corporation welcomed Luke Brew to the Rulmeca family as Vulcanizing Technician on August 28, 2023. In his new position, Luke will handle the entire rubber vulcanizing process, including: prepping shells, wrapping shells with uncured nitrile compound and vulcanizing tape, setting up and operating the autoclave and grinding lathe, and performing all part inspections and documentation.

Had a successful trip to Las Vegas to attend the Rubber Roller Group annual meeting. Great networking and excellent exchange of ideas regarding hot vulcanizing of rubber!

Rulmeca Corporation will be exhibiting at the Burgaw, NC Job Fair because we are looking for another Motorized Pulley assembly technician.

CONEXPO 2023 follow-up continues... We met Jake Tonlino (Tonlino and Sons Crushed Stone) of Otis, Massachusetts, who came to our booth looking for a spare to match the specs of the old Motorized Pulley on his Ondrick Construction mobile plant.

He brought this digital picture of the data plate from his Motorized Pulley, made in 1995. Upon returning from the show, Mike Gawinski scanned an old 35 mm photo and sent it to Jake to verify the Motorized Pulley he needs is identical to the ones supplied to Ondrick in 1995.

Thanks for the PO Jake! Rulmeca Motorized Pulleys, when properly suited to the application, yield a long service life…as testified by this 7.5 HP model 320M still in service after nearly 30 years.
