Dr. Heber W Johnson Rotary Garden - Home of the World's Largest Rotary Wheel. This is a community and economic development project of the Rotary Clubs of Wilmington Wheel and Garden Collaborative. The nonprofit has established an endowment for the care and keeping of the Rotary Garden and the surrounding Greenfield Lake Park area. The history of Rotary in the Garden threads back to the early 1900'

The Rotary Wheel 50th Anniversary at the Dr. Heber W Johnson Rotary Garden was held on April 28, 2015 in Greenfield Lake Park, Wilmington, North Carolina. Hosted by the Wilmington Rotary Club, who is celebrating their 100th Anniversary, the event was attended by 200+ Rotarians, community civic club members, City of Wilmington, New Hanover County, family, friends, and local business leaders were in attendance to honor the volunteers who brought the Rotary Wheel and Amphitheater to Greenfield Lake Park and to celebrate all the current efforts of Greenfield Lake Collaborative and the past efforts of the Task Force. Thank you to Saw Mill for the wonderful picnic cuisine, Sai Collins for the incredible afternoon entertainment, and Ned Leary for the awesome aerial photography with his drone.
