Keeping busy with what we love to do!

We're often asked about drinkware, so here are some thoughts. Pictures to follow.... The industry has thousands of different styles of beverage bottles avail at a variety of price points. If you go the "plastic" route I recommend avoiding Acrylic. Choose one that is made of Tritan Material- they won't break on impact and are less likely to melt if someone puts in the dishwasher. You can also find ones made in the USA if that is important to you. While they may be dishwasher safe, any decorated item, will "wear" over time if placed in the dishwasher. Bonus is that the double walled ones are typically safe for hot or cold beverages. Lids vary to include twist off, built in straw (tilts up), sip thru, or ones that have a hole for a straw. You can get 100 of something like this (single wall) from a reputable promotional products person for about $5 each for full color art plus setup and shipping. A double wall one, like a Tervis or similar will run more - in the $10-14 range as a start- depending on size, quantity, etc. Stainless steel is popular as well. Again look for terms such as single or double wall/insulated (the former will be for water only and "sweats). The insulated ones will keep the beverage cooler or hotter for a longer time than the single/not insulated. Some insulated have plastic liners and work fine. The ones that are all Stainless, insulated (and copper lined) are more along the lines of the retail ones we know as "yeti" or "s'well" but without the name or high retail price. They keep hot items hot typically for 5+ hours and cold items cold for 12-24. The minimum quantities on these are lower and start in the $10 range and go up from there. Keep in mind that these are selling faster than some companies can keep stocked, so even if there's stock when you inquire it can change. Regarding decoration- stick with laser, screen print, or digital imprint. Avoid vinyl. Finally, if you choose to deal with an internet-only based company, consider Googling "company name" plus "complaints". Sometimes when something seems too good to be true from a price or offer standpoint, there's a reason. And the reality is what you thought you might be saving isn't a savings if it doesn't show up on time, your artwork comes out illegible, is too small, and/or the product is damaged or not delivered in time.
