Annnnd since it’s Friday, we’ll sneak in a ! If we haven’t met, we’re Brandon & Katie, the faces behind your new favorite home fragrance brand. A few fun facts and updates for you on this beautiful day:

➕ It may only be June, but we’re gearing up for our much anticipated Fall Collection. We’ve already poured 60+ candles, and have several hundred more on the list. Fall is our favorite time of year and ✨candle season✨ so we plan to be well prepared for both events and our retailers stock needs.
➕ We will soon be working on a massive project (bigger than we’ve ever done before) and we can’t wait to share more information on this once the process starts.
➕ Brandon’s favorite birthday party memory was swimming in the drop tank and having parties at the fire department his dad worked at when he was a kid. 👨🏻‍🚒
➕ He’s not usually a fan of many sweets, so in place of a cake, Brandon usually opts for his Nina’s (grandma) “Blueberry Yum Yum” which is like a deconstructed blueberry cheesecake.
➕ We just celebrated our 11th anniversary together and officially tie the knot in 127 days! Wedding planning is NO joke 😮‍💨 (thank god for 😘)

The amount of times we’ve been told “I never trim my wicks” is terrifying (okay, slightly dramatic, but it’s for the effect).

Candle care is vital for a number of reasons:
▪️It prevents an uneven burn from carbon buildup (the wick mushroom you see after burning a candle)
▪️ Increased burn time! Our signature 10oz candles last 50+ hours with proper care.
▪️ Prevents soot from forming, meaning a cleaner burn overall!

We joke about our wick trimmers being “fancy scissors”, but they are a game changer when it comes to burning candles!

True Blue Butcher & Baker is an integral part of the WATB brand, nestled in Hampstead, and features fresh baked breads, pastries, and of course the most premium cuts of meat you can get.
