Made a camping knife out of stainless. 440c and layered micarta scales. Tiffany blue pins for extra sauce. This is available with a leather sheath.

One of the things I hope my kids learn from me is to never stop learning. If you want to do something, jump in and figure it out. Even if you fail, you learn and make little tweaks here and there and do it again until you get it right. Love to learn. I learned how to make Mokume Gane

Lesson for 2024 - Don’t be afraid to fail. My 1st attempt at making a San Mai billet. It didn’t work out but I have notes and I’ll be trying again this weekend. Here’s to round two! 🍻

Stainless chefs knife with copper pins.

Hidden tang, pukko style in Damascus. Handle is walnut, g10 and brass. I’m getting better with the details!

Tried working with copper. It’s a bit of a bear but man it looks good. 12” chefs knife. 440cStainless with copper liners and resin scales.

Learned how to etch my logo instead of stamping. I couldn’t reliably stamp the hot steel and ruined a few blades. Don’t have to worry about that now!

EDC going out the door today. I really like this size of knife. A lot of versatility and I think it just looks cool.

I like a fixed blade edc. I challenged myself and started this and finished through heat treat today. Tried another stone wash as well.

I’m starting to enjoy the leather working as much as the knife making. Working on cleaning up my stitching.
