Double S Horsemanship

Double S Horsemanship is dedicated to developing partnerships between horses and their handlers. We use a variety of natural horsemanship techniques to prepare horses for their careers, whether as a police mount, search and rescue horse, sport horse, trail horse or therapeutic riding horse. In addition to training the horse, we train the rider/handler so that the partnership can be solidified and both the horse and person can be successful.

We are loving being able to assist at the 36th annual colloquium. Tonight we joined in on the Southern Lights trail ride. Thank you to the Horse Park Mounted Police for letting us ride Billy and Turk.

The arena at our the Somerled Farm location is progressing nicely. The ground is leveled and the drainage system is being installed.

It’s been a while since we’ve posted anything. But we’ve had some exciting things happen this past year. We were able to expand our business to include a second location. We are so excited to be able to offer more training opportunities as well as riding lessons.
