Peep the 🦋? 🥰
I had a charcuterie board buyer ask if a butterfly could be added to her board. Why yes, yes it can. I embedded this large gold butterfly within the resin pour and it turned out so pretty.
All charcuterie board orders have been completed and I’ll have them shipped out this week.
Thank you all for an amazing Christmas Season so far.
Shew 😅 what a week and it’s only December 1. 😳
I think I’ve put in more studio time than ever this week preparing for a fun day of shopping tomorrow Morehead.
I’ve basically replenished the previously sold out Christmas Collections and added a new item or 2. If you are local or close by Morehead, we’d be delighted to have you join us!
I have also completed all charcuterie board orders up to this point and they will ship out next week. Thank you all! 💕
How often does your mind think of loved ones past when a butterfly comes your way? It never fails for me.
A mini resin butterfly collection in memory of my mom and my second Christmas without her.
These will be available at the Christmas Open House this Saturday. Any remaining pieces will be added to the website Sunday.
“I tell of hearts and souls and dances…
Butterflies and second chances;
Desperate ones and dreamers bound,
Seeking life from barren ground,
Who suffer on in earthly fate
The bitter pain of agony hate,
Might but they stop and here forgive
Would break the bonds to breathe and live
And find that God in goodness brings
A chance for change, the hope of wings
To rest in Him, and self to die
And so become a butterfly.” ―Karen Kingsbury

Wishing you all many blessings on this Thanksgiving Day from this little turkey and me. She’s growing like a w**d and my days of picking her up are coming to an end. She’s going to be a big girl.
I just wanted to take a minute and thank each of you for being here. For all your support of my little art dream. The purchases, the likes, the comments and shares, each one means the world to me and I’m continually grateful and humbled.
May your day be filled with all the things and those you love. Hug your people tightly, we never know who we may be missing year after year. I sure miss my mom. 🥹
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

I’ve been working on charcuterie boards this week and wrapping up commissions.
The week has gotten away from me and I didn’t get as many items on the website as I had hoped for but they are coming, I promise. 😅I’ll have another round of Christmas gift giving items added to the website early next week.
A few more mini florals were just added. Find them on georgetteart.com under Christmas Shop 2023.
Blessing to you all for a wonderful Thanksgiving. Hug on your people tightly, we never know who will be missed year after year. 💕

Such an incredible home show in Jacksonville yesterday. We had a house full all day with fabulous food and fellowship. My phone didn’t get much attention for pics to share but know that my heart is full.
was a blessing to share the occasion with and I know they are just as grateful as I am for an incredibly successful day.
I’ll be w**ding out some already sold things on the website this weekend to make it easier to shop available items. In the mean time, a couple of 12x12 resin florals in acrylic frames were just added to the website. 🦋 🦋 Find them in the Christmas 2023 section at georgetteart.com
He laid down His life that I would be set free.
It’s all about the cross. 🌟
Mixed media resin crosses just hit the website under Christmas 2023.
They are back and I’m so in love with this new pattern.
The 2023 Charcuterie Board is now available on the website for a limited number of pre-orders.
Approximately 18 inches in diameter and made from textiles taken from my Blooms and Blessings Collection, resined and finished off with beautiful acrylic and gold handles. This board is food safe and made to just be wiped clean with a damp cloth. * It is not a cutting board.
I’ve loved doing these in the past and they’ve always been a big hit so I’m happy to offer them again. I’ll cut off pre-orders at some point to assure arrival by Christmas. So, if you’ve been messaging me about these, now’s the time. Head on over to georgetteart.com and get your name on the preorder list. 🎁
These will be priced at 320.00 which includes shipping. If you are local or semi local and do not need shipping, please message me and I will reimburse you.
Busy studios days!

Update: SOLD OUT
From blooming bouquets to blooming trees the studio is bursting with color. I’m in my happy place as Christmas trees bloom from top to bottom.
The new baby girl pup is starting to feel at home. She’s settling in well and giving me small spurts of work time in between eating, going potty, chewing and digging. 😅💕
Today was a productive day. These 8x8’s will be available on my website tomorrow as part of my 2023 Christmas collection.
Y’all are the best!
SOLD OUT!
Thank you, thank you! 💕
First round of mini’s are ready!
(I even snuck in some adorable hand painted Christmas cottages and I love them. See them all lit up?) It’s been a fun day. 🥰
If you asked to be put on “the list” - I tagged you in yesterday’s comments beneath your request to please send me your email address for invoices. I’ll get these boxed and shipped out this week.
They are all originals but look very similar with the same colors and style being the same. All are the same blue vases. I hope it’s okay that I chose one for you. It’s hard to do it otherwise without them being on my website to allow you to chose yourself.
If you’d rather take the chance on grabbing one when they post on the website tomorrow, please let me know and I’ll remove you from the list.
Thank you all for continuing to support this little art gig of mine!! My heart stays full. 💕
Christmas prep has officially started in the studio. I’m busy working on some super fun gift ideas. 🎁
I spend so much time in my own head thinking of cool stuff to offer for the Christmas season and I can’t wait to share what I have in the works in the coming days and weeks.
Here’s a sneak peek of what’s up first. We can all use some bright color to counter the ugly going on in the world today, right? Stay tuned for availability date one day this week depending on how much free time this puppy gives me. She’s wildly perfect but shew! 😅🐶
Cheers to a Saturday full of sunshine in Eastern NC! I hope the sun is shining wherever you are as well.
I’m excited to offer a limited number of hand embellished framed canvas giclee prints from my Views From Heaven collection just in time for the holiday season.
These are now available on my website listed under Fine Art Prints. Each printed with archival inks, on canvas, framed, shipped for free and arrive ready to hang.
Bella says it’s almost time for some Blooms and Blessings. This smaller than usual collection, only 5 pieces, is full of blooms and my hope is that it brings tons of blessings your way.
This will be my last “collection release“ for 2023. I’ll be working on commissions for the rest of the year and likely do some smalls for gift giving. Stay tuned, I’m still toying with ideas. 🤔
I’m thinking I’ll mostly be working on training this sweet girl to be a well behaved obedient pup that everyone enjoys having around.
Thanks for barring with me as I blast my feed with puppy pics. 🐶💖
“Blooms and Blessings” Collection will be available, tonight, Oct 25 on my website, georgetteart.com at 7:00pm EST.
The Wexel acrylic frames are perfect for my clay bloom pieces. Unfortunately, this collection will only have one piece in this frame due to shipping damages upon delivery. I’ll try for more frames like this in the future.

Puppies and artwork….happy day!
At the risk of this cutie completely taking center stage over my new art collection, Bella asked to make her Instagram debut! She’s wild as a buck 😳 but we are in love already.
She will never replace our beloved Copper but as huge dog people, we have tons of doggie love to give and consider it a blessing to have gotten her so quickly. She is from the same breeder as our previous 2 dogs and even from the same bloodline as Copper on the fathers side.
So, it’s appropriate that this collection was named “Blooms and Blessings.” Blooms pop off the canvas in each piece and life is always full of blessings somewhere, even in the midst of sadness. This is a smaller than usual collection with only 5 pieces. Life happened this month.
Blooms and Blessings will be available at 7:00pm EST, October 25th on my website. georgetteart.com
The colors just make me smile big. I think it’s ready for framing.
Final pics from this collection coming this weekend.

We’ve been devastated at the loss of our old girl. What a blessing it was to have had her to love and loved by for 11 years. Only dog people will ever understand the impact the loss of a fur baby has on a family. 🥹
I’ve gotten myself together enough today to style this 30x40 to share. Deep rich layers of color with 12 handmade porcelain blooms tuck within.
This piece will be included in my next collection release, “Blooms and Blessings”, October 21st at 7:00pm on my website. georgetteart.com
Being concerned with a social media post the past few days seems shallow and insignificant in light of the state of the world. My heart hurts.
I can pray without ceasing, turn the news off, paint, make flowers and breathe while reminding myself Jesus carries the weight of the world so we don’t have to.
Blooms and Blessings Collection release will be Wednesday, October 25 at 7:00pm EST on georgetteart.com
Some of my most favorite memories revolve around flowers. My son, who is now 16, use to pick the most beautiful flowers for me. He would come inside, with his hand behind his back, wearing the sweetest smile as he offered up his gift. Sometimes it came from one of my manicured flower beds and sometimes it was picked from w**ds in the woods. It certainly didn’t matter to me and some of them I still have, pressed inside a book, with the date they were given. Flowers always tend to spark some sort of sweet memory for us all don’t they?
Huge shout out to for providing the perfect acrylic shadow box frame for this porcelain bloom piece. I absolutely love it!
I’ll have a few of these available in my upcoming collection.

Acrylic, gouache, porcelain clay
Each handmade porcelain clay bloom is finding its perfect spot to nestle down within the Blooms and Blessings Collection.
I’m popping these pretties into bouquets and abstracts throughout this series. Playing with new ways to build upon my work is what keeps my creativity flowing. I’ve molded, folded, designed, painted and even gold tipped a few, sporadically.
Super excited to share these pieces with you all. 🩵🩷💚💛🧡💙💜
Sneak peek “Blooms and Blessings”
Does anyone else feel extra uncomfortable with the strange happenings in the world these days?
What’s real? What’s not real? What’s true, what’s untrue? Are we going to become zombies once the EBS alert goes off today? Lol. IYKYK 🤪
It’s overwhelming really but one thing is for certain, God knows and He is in control and on time all the time. I’m choosing to rest in that promise.
Until I have some fun new work to share, I thought I’d share again a pic of previous work while I’m gathering my thoughts and exploring colors on new canvases in the studio. 💕
Ahhhh, I feel the coziness of fall in the air. A new school year is well on the way, temps are cooling and days are shortening. The changing of seasons is always exciting to me. By the time one season is ending, I’m always looking forward to the next. The pumpkin spice creamer is now my go to as I enjoy my coffee and Bible time wrapped in a cozy blanket on my back porch in the mornings. It’s my favorite time of day.
After a few days off since Septembers collection release, I’m back in the studio today and felt drawn to add some punches of fall color to this piece with shimmers of crimson and gold gracing the canvas.

We are hunkered down in Eastern NC as tropical storm Ophelia blows through.
Adding a big pop of color to your feed that my sweet collector friend shared. This piece from my Views From Heaven collection is fabulous with the pink lacquered chest.
I’m looking forward to seeing it completely styled along with other Georgette pieces in this sure to be fabulous new lake home on Lake Gaston NC.
Thank you for successful collection release! 🎉
It’s good for the heart to have new collectors invest in my work and extra good for the heart to have repeat collectors.
I’m incredibly grateful to be able to hang in my studio everyday and do as I wish. It’s a great place to be in life and I consider it a huge blessing.
Thank you, thank you. Now to get these goodies safely packaged and boxed and off to their new homes.
