Our residents got the opportunity to watch the parade this morning, Happy Labor Day from Bright Assisted Living! 🇺🇸

Friday was national Hawaiian Shirt Day, our residents got to wear Aloha shirts, eat Hawaiian Candy and learn about the Hawaiian islands from our one of caregivers. 🌺

Rainy days make the best Movie days and two of our residents have been excitedly making their way through the Star Wars series this summer. 🍿

It’s important to stay active as you get older, this week our residents got to do some chair yoga to get their bodies moving. 🧘🏼‍♂️

This is Pip, Our Bright Assisted Living Mascot and resident best friend. Pip makes everyone’s day better with his visits to our residents and staff. 🐶🩵

While playing 1950’s trivia, the question was asked “what kids toy was invented that was based off of Hula dancing?” Doug yelled “Hula Hoops!!”, Which then called for a spontaneous hula hooping session with one of our caretakers! 😂🩷

Warm days are for blowing bubbles on the porch! ☀️🫧🫧

Ari has worked for Bright for almost 3 years!
Ari brings joy to Bright every single day and we are so incredibly thankful for the way she cares for our residents. Ari has been married 13 years and has 6 kids, she is now a nana to her first granddaughter. 🩷 In her spare time, she love spending time with her kids and playing video games with them. She loves sunflowers and is a Denver bronco fan for life!

Izzy has worked with us for a few months and we are so happy to have her on our team! She grew up in Erie, Co and is currently going to school for radiology. Izzy used to volunteer at the human society and now spends her time golfing with her family, playing video games and studying. Her favorite book is the Alchemist and her favorite dessert is tiramisu. We are so thankful for the love and support she gives our residents! 💛

Employee Highlight!

Nikki has only worked at Bright for 4 months, but her dedication, hard work and love for our residents quickly made her a very special part of our team! Nikki is from Greeley. She has 6 kids and loves spending time with her family. She loves roses 🌹, cheesecake, and Spring time. Her deep love for people makes her the perfect caregiver for our residents! We are so thankful for her! 💛

EMPLOYEE HIGHLIGHT 🤩

Cora has worked at Bright for 4 1/2 years. She is from Ault, Co and has a heart for the elderly after watching her own grandparents grow old. She loves to make a difference in the lives of our residents through the care she provides. Cora has been married to her husband Dave for 36 years and has 4 children and 3 grandchildren. Cora loves painting, scrapbooking, and going to Zumba. 💃 She enjoys spending time in her beautiful garden with her sweet dog Bella. We are so thankful for Cora and the way she loves our residents.

Employee Highlight!!

Shelby has been our administrative director for 1 year! From Lancaster, Pennsylvania,
Shelby has worked with the elderly since she was 15 years old. Shelby spends her free time beekeeping 🐝 and spending time with her husband Jeff and their 8 kiddos. Shelby’s favorite movie is Titanic and loves anything chocolate. Shelby brings so much joy to Bright with her puppy, Pip, by her side! She’s a constant smile and safe place for our residents! We are so thankful for her and all she pours into this facility.

Every year our residents plants tomato seeds, this year Doug got to help put the fresh sprouts in the garden box!

We love finding new games for our residents to play! While this one can be a little challenging, it can also be a lot of fun.

Yesterday was World Bee Day! 🐝
Our residents got to spend the afternoon learning about bees from our administrator Shelby, who now has her own bee hives!

We are so thankful for Ms. Cora, who hosts Ms. Cora’s Beauty Shop every Saturday afternoon for any resident that would like to get their hair done.💇🏼‍♀️
