THE number one question I get with clients is along the lines of… “we are really awkward people how do you go about posing awkward people?” 🤔

💕 I love offering mini’s 🥹 it usually consists of photographing little ones and being a mama, this is near and dear to my heart of capturing those sweet moments 🫶🏼

💕 lately I haven’t been able to offer them for a few reasons I’m not listing publicly 😆

💕 to be able to offer them, I need AT LEAST 4-5 families/people to book due to costs of reservations + set up for themed mini’s.

💕 I have so many ideas 🥲 and set ups I want to plan and need to know YOUR interest in them. I offer a yearly pass for Mini’s ($500 for 5 mini’s, packages includes more photos each session, spots guaranteed, within 12 months of time of purchase)

So many sweet moments capture during this in home newborn session 😭

Though I do not “specialize” in newborn sessions (such as having a studio to do themes/wrapping/ext), I LOVE doing in home newborn sessions that captures life as it is THAT day.

Have a toddler running off of no nap and not wanting to smile for the capture? That’s what I’m capturing

Newborn wanting to be attached to mama and not left alone? Sign me up.

🔥 THE ANNOUNCEMENT 🔥 I’m late on making 🙃

The time has come, to where my family is a part of my ministry now. Sounds weird right? But it’s a first for me. I’ve always worked (since highschool, no summers off 😆) always overloaded myself with absurd amount of credit hours on top of working full time, multiple jobs. Every night has been a sleepless night working three jobs, momming and wifey-ing 🥲

We recently welcomed our second son into this world and this maternity leave was different. My eyes were open more. My heart desired to see my children more, to teach them a way of living & life LIFE with them daily. I was ready to tend to my home, as a wife & a mom.

I’ve always tended to it, but surface level. New desires have sparked this go round & in this season, more time with my family is where I’m being led.

Don’t worry, this is good news for all my followers and future clients 😆 this means my only job now (aside from mommy + wifey) is photography!!!! Whereas I have previously been working a full time mon-fri job on top of weekend sessions and weddings.

I QUIT MY 8-5 job🙌🏻

Now.. I am not the photographer that specializes in swaddling those sweet babies and comes up with all the adorable little props around them BUT I will suggest props / do in-home newborn sessions to capture all the little tiny details of your new family 💫

A wedding I’ll always have stamped on my heart. One day (soon) I’ll share how I ended up becoming their wedding photographer. I’ll bet you can never guess 🤪🤭😆 I’ll give you a hint: it wasn’t from her inquiring 😅 any guesses?

When their are children involved in a session the concern from parents is ALWAYS one, or all of these things:

- my child won’t sit still
- they won’t smile at the camera
- likely won’t cooperate
- shy in front of strangers
- a toddler (we all know that speaks on multiple concerns) 🤭

And my response is always the same.

I will capture them how they are that day. Photos aren’t meant to be like social media has played out to be… a “highlight reel” of life and all the best things. Photos are meant to document the family however they interact with each other, how they hug you tight and come running to you and squeeze your neck without you forcing them to do something. Don’t force children to say cheese if they don’t want to, don’t threaten them. You’ll miss that cute angry face one day 🤭😂

Let the little ones run around, have patience with them parents, and you can voice your concerns to me but I will always let those littles, stay little at the session 💫

If there’s a boat, we ARE using it 🙃💫
