Forsyth.cc - ForsythRides to offer job-related rides for free 03/08/2024

Access to opportunity happened yesterday when our County Commissioners voted for a commuter benefit for the Forsyth County community! Support Systems has always worked to shine a light on the importance of transit solutions for work.

It has been a successful endeavor for high school interns, second chance citizens, private individuals, and seniors. Keep us in your prayers as we continue to serve our community!

Thank you so much Kyle Haney for your unwavering belief in support since 2019. Carol Davis, Esq., MBA I’m so grateful for you and S.G Atkins words can not express!

I look forward to working with my network to bring these resources and make a powerful impact!

Forsyth.cc - ForsythRides to offer job-related rides for free The new ForsythRides program will provide no-cost rides to Forsyth residents for employment-related travel.

Assisted Living Story | United States Senate Special Committee on Aging 01/30/2024

The US Senate Special Committee on Aging recently held a hearing focusing on Assisted Living. The full hearing is available here: https://www.aging.senate.gov/hearings

Following the expert testimony, the Senators are looking for feedback from citizens who have had a loved one at an assisted living, either currently or in the past. They are asking for experiences, specifically:
What has/had your experience been as a family member/ those paying the Assisted Living facility bill?
What promises (of care, etc.) were made by the facility and are/were these being upheld?
What has your personal experience been overall – share the ‘true cost’ of your assisted living experience (financial, emotional, social, etc.)

The link to submit comments is here: https://www.aging.senate.gov/AssistedLivingBills

This website will be open to receive responses only until February 1, 2024 (this Thursday), so this is time sensitive.

International vibes today!!

The thing that worries me the most with seniors is the lack of support! Please if you have seniors in your family that are aging in place (at home) check on them. Check on them at least 3 times a day. Split it up with family if you have to and FAMILY please participate 🙏

Please keep our seniors in your prayer during these cold days.
