FMF The Drop Sauce Edition

We’ll start with the hot sauce, because we’re hot sauce fans. The sauce is right on point with a great pepper flavor and some heat to even it out. It’s certainly hotter than what most people would enjoy but for me it’s right in the sweet spot between flavorful and spicy.

The short color is unique - how many guys are gonna walk around in a salmon color tshirt now!

A little puppy followed me home today….

As I was leaving the Denton swap meet - this crusty treasure jumped out and followed me back to my truck. Period dirt racer, with some fantastic bits from the 60s. Not sure what the end goal / result will be but it’s always rad seeing these period racers come to life and live another chapter.

From beginning to end, this project took 72 hours to complete but in the end, it’s beginning started years before I ever acquired it
To much to really write down, mention, or explain so I nstead, here’s a bike we built from a pile of parts into something rod to ride on.

It’s been a minute since I made an old bike post, so here it is……

Finally glad technology has caught up with the British bike scene and there’s a modern approach to our aging bikes. Installed in this photo is an Electrex ignition which is housed in the primary cover (not points cover like original). Benefit to this new-ish ignition is that it removes the need for a battery to start and run the vehicle, instead, the vehicle fires off from the stator keeping everything nice and neat in one unit. Electrex says it battery optional for lighting and other accessories you may want to run, however from experience, I think running a battery is best practice. Simply enough capacitors aren’t really strong enough to right fill lights at idle - dim lights these days will probably get you killed with as many idiot drivers as there are. Slick unit and priced extremely fair.

Quick little story:

On the Isle of Man, we were running a bit late so we popped into a local curry house near our house. Service was slow, communication wasn’t great, but the food was terrific.

While we were waiting, we met and his pops Marsh and had a great conversation about first time at the TT and bikes in general.

I told them to come see me in the paddock and I’ll get them on the grid for the start. They were super stoked to be actually on Glencrutchery Rd when the bikes took off, especially since it was the Senior TT.

About a month later, I got this rad care package in the mail. Ethan and Marsh sent me a ring from their area (Navajo). (Marsh had asked me if I liked turquoise because of the other rings I was wearing, and if you’ve seen some of them, you know I enjoy a good traditional turquoise ring)

Super pumped on this new ring, fits amazing, and glad to have met and spent time with some really rad dudes! This is what the TT is about - racing, friends, and having the time of your life.
