I thought this would be a helpful little guide for my wonderful clients! If this is your first tattoo, I feel like this would be super helpful to refer to on the stages of healing.
✨️ The number one stage I get the most questions about is what I like to call the "ghosting stage." So this is when your top layer of skin has healed over the ink. This new layer of skin is opaque. Healed skin is transparent. Thats why during this stage your tattoo can look a little dull and not as vibrant. But have no fear! The color comes back. Just give it a few more weeks.
