Hard to believe it’s already been a week since Billy had a stroke. We want to thank everyone who has called, stopped by, & prayed for Billy. He’s back at work, half days for now, but you know nothing is holding this man down. We love our customers.

We are in need of a barber & would love to have you join our work family. Requirements are you must have a up to date North Carolina barber license or apprenticeship permit. We are a family barbershop, we do men, women, & kids. We have been in business since 1970 & we would love to have you as part of our Mt. Tabor family. Did you know each year, 700 people at-risk or experiencing homelessness are killed from hypothermia in the United States? I can not even imagine.

We have had two HUGE donations today!!! Thank you!!! If you are at all able to donate please please consider it. We also need some volunteers Saturday, some more teams, moreco****le boards, etc…if you just want to come out and taste the chili in the cook off PLEASE come!!! All and everyone are welcome!!! We have some wonderful speakers coming that you will want to hear and I promise your hearts will be changed.

This is what is needed for renovations to be done and it can be done!!! Seems impossible, but nothing is impossible with God. We need teams to play Nov 11th, we need volunteers, we need more co****le boards, we need prayers. If you don’t want to do anything but donate money we can gladly accept that as well and we will get you a receipt for your taxes. Thank you!!!

If you are a teacher please leave your Amazon list here so people can go to one place and buy them. Friends please if you can buy something for a teacher. I am seeing first hand how much teachers spend and it is INSANE. Yes they are choosing to buy this stuff but if they don’t who will.

We have a Girl Scout and Girl Scout cookies in the house today. Come and buy her out!!!

At Mt. Tabor, We always try to put customers first. We have thankfully been able to keep haircuts cost down and have stayed at $15 since 2015. With that said, we wanted to let our customers know haircuts will increase to $20 Dec 1. We truly hope you understand.

Today we introduce you to the baby of the Mitchell family, everyone meet Kayla Thompson, aka Kaye, baby kays, sissy, little seester. Kayla has worked at the shop since 2002 and she loves cutting hair. When you come in she will greet you with a smile (she’s smiling behind the mask). When she’s not working at the shop she is busy running her kids around. Kayla loves hiking, nature, photography and being a mom. She is married to Levi and has 3 children (1 girl and 2 boys). Kayla works Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, come by and see her sometime and let her hook you up.

There is so much to say about her, no wonder she is the first chair you see as you walk through our doors. Heather's personality is true and kind.
When I say she knows no stranger, that is a guarantee she gets that honest.
Heather has been a barber here at Mt. Tabor
since 1997. She is the Mom to Carly and Carson and wife to Jeff.
When she is not behind the chair and has free time
she loves to fish, travel to the beach and is an EXPERT on finding shark teeth.

Today we introduce to you, Rickey Mitchell aka Richie, Rics, Richard, diddy. Hims thinks he’s the boss but hims not. Rickey has been working at Mt. Tabor since 1996, 24 years. His favorite style to cut is a fade. He don’t believe in haircuts, obviously, but he sure can give a good one. He’s married and has 2 boys. He loves golden retrievers, family time, & his beard.
