POLLEN REPORT: Wednesday, September 20, 2023
Today's TREE pollen rating is 34 MODERATE.
Today's WEED pollen rating is 32 MODERATE (50% Ragweed).
Today's GRASS pollen rating is 25 LOW.

POLLEN FORECAST [PRS]:
Thu 09/21: Weeds = 35 MODERATE, Trees = 30 MODERATE, Grasses = 9 LOW.
Fri 09/22: Weeds = 35 MODERATE, Trees = 28 MODERATE, Grasses = 9 LOW.
Sat 09/23: Weeds = 26 MODERATE, Trees = 26 MODERATE, Grasses = 1 LOW.

Overall pollen concentrations are quite similar to yesterday. The Moderate tree pollen observed today was all Lacebark Elm and half of the Moderate weed pollen tallied was Ragweed. Dry weather will continue through the rest of the workweek with high temperatures in the 70s. Expect weed and tree pollen to remain Moderate and grass pollen to remain Low. Low pressure looks to form off the Southeast coast and push northward on Saturday. There is still some uncertainty in the exact track and aerial extent of the associated rainfall. It does look like there will at least be a chance of some showers that should pare back pollen concentrations a bit. As we get closer and the details become clearer, a larger downward adjustment to the pollen forecast may be necessary if it looks like more significant rainfall will occur. (Perrotte)
