This is a smaller stack than we typically post in a used reveal video but there were a few unique titles we don’t see often I wanted to share. All are on floor and in stock at Underdog Records as we open at 11 am this morning — Friday — and we’ll be here until 7 pm this evening. Thank you!

Working in retail — particularly one that takes in used product from the public — you never know what each day will hold, but there’s one constant. We spend every day sorting, cleaning, grading, and pricing used albums. Here’s just one stack of a few freshly processed used LPs. As is the case everyday, there’s more going out than only what you see in the videos. We’re also anticipating a shipment of new LPs today, which we’ll share a few highlights from once they’re processed. Underdog Records is open today — Thursday, August 29th — from 11 am until 7 pm.

We have just made 25 mystery LPs available in our online store for $5 each. All are new LPs from our in-store inventory. There is no limit per customer but we are only making 25 total available for this promotion at this time. You may receive an LP from a number of genres: rock/pop, soul/r&b, country/folk, metal, reggae, jazz, blues, punk, international/world, hip hop, or electronic. All sales are final; no returns or exchanges. Mystery LPs are available for free in-store pickup or $6.99 flat rate shipping and can be combined with any other LPs in our online store. Thank you!

Last night we posted two videos of used jazz LPs you’ll find in stock at Underdog this morning when we open at 11 am. Here are some of the non-jazz used LPs also freshly cleaned, graded, and priced for today. Open 11 am - 7 pm and we’ll be cleaning and pricing more used albums all day long.

Here is the 2nd part of our used jazz drop for Saturday at Underdog Records. We will be open 11-7 on Saturday and all these and the jazz LPs from part 1 of this video will be on the sales floor at opening tomorrow. We will also post another video Saturday morning before opening of some NON-jazz LPs we’ll have out for the weekend. Thank you!

Also, just a heads up that we’ll be doing another jazz drop this Saturday, August 17th. Nothing crazy high dollar in this drop, I don’t believe there was anything over $100, but plenty of quality and all early pressings. I’ll post a video of what’s going out for that drop on either Friday night or early Saturday morning. (No early birds so please don’t come ask to go through it before it hits the floor Saturday). We have a fresh batch of used LPs this morning as well as — thank goodness — a working point-of-sale system again just as of 9:45 this morning. We’ll be open today 11-7 with the ultrasonic LP cleaners bathing more used albums for you all day.

One of the most common questions we get from new customers is how often do we add new inventory? Answer: Every Damn Day (Worth reminding, also, that our videos and slideshows do not reflect all incoming inventory.) It’s Thursday and we are open 11-7.

Good morning and Happy Wednesday. Here are a few of the freshly priced used LPs you’ll find in the shop at opening this morning. A quick word about potential schedule shakeup this week. My dog Charlie is having her surgery tomorrow. I’ll be dropping her off super early so it should be business as usual on Thursday (11-7) but it has not yet been made clear to me when to anticipate picking her up on Friday so there could be a late opening or some interruption in the middle of the day Friday — remains to be seen. And we are, of course, open normal 11-7 hours today. Thank you!
