Hello skin care lovers! i’ve had a few people ask me if I would post any of before and after photos of treatments I have done at Massage Envy. As you know, I cannot bring my phone into my treatment room . But a past client did request me to take her phone and take before and after pictures after having the Oxygenating Facial treatment. She gave me permission to post a before and after. As you can see in general, she has very good skin tends to be a little dehydrated and wanted a really nice exfoliation, hydrating and age management result prior to an event she had coming up that weekend. On the left is the before on the right is the after a one hour Oxygenating Facial treatment at Massage Envy at Hanes Mall Blvd location.
✅Notice how the front of our cheeks are super shiny.

24 years ago today I became a NC licensed Esthetician!
I never thought I would be doing something for so long and enjoyed every day of it. I made the decision at 34 years old to go back to school (out of pocket) and changed my career to something I was passionate and curious about since I was 12. I survived through many obstacles and kept going with my career. I have worked in several places. Many clients and teammates I still keep in touch with to this day. Each year I gain more knowledge, more strength to speak, challenge myself and be able to financially support myself on my own. Those I need to thank are my family who always guided and believed in me. Friends who gave encouragement. Clients and who look to me for answers, advice and trust for the occasional "TLC treatment". 🤔NC State Board, I just don’t get this requirements at all! So a 20 year old Cosmetologist can graduate from doing CEUs at 40 after working 20 years. But an Esthetician works 10 years but HAS to be 60 years old to graduate from doing CEUs? Why does a person’s age matter when it comes to an Esthetician continuing education?

▶️”Exemptions: A licensee who is in active practice as a COSMETOLOGIST and has at least 20 years of consecutive years of experience as a cosmetologist can apply for an exemption from the continuing education requirement. Individuals age 60 or older with 10 years of continuous work experience can apply for exemption from CE with the exception of teacher licenses. “
