What are SilverSneakers CLASSES?
- Answer - SilverSneakers is a comprehensive program for Active older adults - the goal of the classes is to improve overall well-being, strength, endurance, injury prevention and social aspects. They are designed for all levels and abilities.
What is SilverSneakers INSURANCE?
- Answer - Silver Sneakers is a free program available to those 65 and older through eligible Medicare Advantage and supplement plans.
Why am I not eligible for SilverSneakers?
- Answer - The most common reason for an ineligible result is your health care plan does not participate in SilverSneakers. Contact your provider to let them know you value this benefit, or consider switching to a plan that does offer SilverSneakers during the yearly open enrollment period.
Do I have to be a certain age to attend a class?
- Answer - NO, all classes are designed for all ages, levels and abilities.
Do I have to have SilverSneakers insurance to attend classes?
- Answer - NO, any facility that offers SilverSneakers classes they are available for anyone to attend, not just specific to those what carry SilverSneakers Insurance.
With my SilverSneakers insurance does it restrict me to only go to SilverSneakers classes?
- Answer - NO you get access to everything your fitness location offers.
With my SilverSneakers insurance can I go to more than one fitness location?
- Answer - You can go to as many of locations as you like if they're in network of over 15,000 fitness locations. They do not just include YMCA, many fitness facilities are in network.
Does 690 Women's Fitness offer SilverSneakers classes?
- Answer - Yes
Does 690 Women's Fitness accept SilverSneakers Insurance
- Answer - Yes we are an approved SilverSneakers fitness facility that accepts SilverSneakers Insurance.

THIS SATURDAY 7/27/24 WILL BE THE LAST CLASS WE WILL OFFER FOR ZUMBA SATURDAYS AT 8:30 AM.
SHOULD THERE BE A DEMAND FOR THE CLASS WE WILL REEVALUATE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
NO Changes to our 9:30 am class.
Paula will continue to fill in on Tuesdays Zumba at 9:15 am thru the end of August. Tina Garner will then step for Tuesdays 9:15 Zumba.
