Last week was FULL. The City of Winston-Salem became Black Theatre Holly Ground. The staff of Sweet Potatoes did an amazing job. They took care of each other while giving great service to the many who came to Sweet Potatoes (well shut my mouth!!) - a restaurant.
It was a privilege to be a small part of the celebration of 35th year of what is International Black Theatre Festival.
Miss Ora’s Kitchen is cooking until 2pm
We will suspend Lunch service at Sweet Potatoes during the week for the remainder of the summer. Sweet Potatoes will continue lunch on Saturdays. Our current hours for Dinner are Wednesday - Saturday 5-9pm with Lunch on Saturdays 11:30-3pm
It’s National Fried Chicken Day! Serving until 9pm
It’s a cookout kind of night. Ribs, chicken (with THE best BBQ sauce) corn on the cob, potato salad and Sweet Potato cornbread. Y’all come have some.
