We’re back from vacation ready to serve some of your favorites. Tonight is V.V.’s Momma Meatloaf. Tomorrow we will start half price wine on Thursdays. Stop in for a bite and a little cheer.

Last week was FULL. The City of Winston-Salem became Black Theatre Holly Ground. The staff of Sweet Potatoes did an amazing job. They took care of each other while giving great service to the many who came to Sweet Potatoes (well shut my mouth!!) - a restaurant.
It was a privilege to be a small part of the celebration of 35th year of what is International Black Theatre Festival.

We will suspend Lunch service at Sweet Potatoes during the week for the remainder of the summer. Sweet Potatoes will continue lunch on Saturdays. Our current hours for Dinner are Wednesday - Saturday 5-9pm with Lunch on Saturdays 11:30-3pm

It’s National Fried Chicken Day! Serving until 9pm

It’s a cookout kind of night. Ribs, chicken (with THE best BBQ sauce) corn on the cob, potato salad and Sweet Potato cornbread. Y’all come have some.

Join us this Sunday for Brunch. We are celebrating Juneteenth with Triad Cultural Arts with special music, cocktails and menu. First seating at 12:30 then at 3:00pm
