Relationships are so important in every area of life, but it’s easy to put them on the back burner when the negativity of the world takes over.
Let’s remember to share the good.
If you have any questions about what we believe, sharing the good news of Jesus, or want church info, please reach out to us. We’d love to talk with you!
Today, as we reflect on the solemnity of Good Friday, let us remember the profound sacrifice of love that Jesus made for each and every one of us. John 3:16 reminds us of this eternal truth: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” May this day be a time of deep contemplation and gratitude for the incredible gift of salvation.

“Do not let kindness and truth leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute in the sight of God and man.”
-Proverbs 3:3-4
*Being nice is to be polite, civilized or accommodating.
*Being kind is to be thoughtful, caring and considerate, but also strong and confident.
If we are avoiding speaking the truth so that we do not offend, it might be nice, but not kind. Thoughtfully speaking the truth, might be a true act of kindness.
Let’s support and appreciate others while being true to our beliefs. Encouraging everyone to choose kindness as you speak truth today!
Devotional by Executive Pastor Don Kenaley
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His faithful love endures forever.”
Psalms 136:1
Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope to see you there!
We just want to say a big thank you to all those who have served our country. The sacrifice given by those in our military and their families does not go unnoticed. Thank you!

“Because they all saw Him and were terrified. Immediately He spoke with them and said, ‘Have courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid’ Then He got into the boat with them, and the wind ceased. They were completely astounded,”
Mark 6:50&51
We don’t have to be afraid because Jesus is the ultimate authority over all things. He says “I AM” because He has always been. He knows your struggles - lean into His greatness and authority.
Devotional by Dr. Stephanie Cline, Children’s Ministry Director
“I just love people” - Pastoral Care Pastor, John Harris
You’ll find Pastor John Harris in prayer for our church and community most days, but before coming to our church, he worked in London helping and supporting those struggling with drug addiction.
Many of you know Pastor Alan Strong through his previous work with our students, but now he has taken on the role of Adult Discipleship Pastor. He loves the friendliness and generosity of the people here at FBC and we are grateful to have him on our staff. One interesting fact about Alan: he took guitar lessons for 10 years from Steven Curtis Chapman’s dad.
Last, but certainly not least is our new Student Ministry Director, John Bradley. John’s favorite way to spend his free time is playing board games, playing basketball and songwriting. He expresses how amazing it is to work at FBC with such generous and supportive staff. He has felt welcomed and valued by everyone since moving here from Virginia with his family.
The next two pastors we want to show our appreciation to are Marcio and Wilson. Marcio is our Horizon West Campus Pastor and Wilson is also a Pastor at the Horizon West Campus. These two men love serving their community and have done a fantastic job growing our HW Campus. With a love for the church, both staff and members, these two men are irreplaceable to our ministry.
Thank you for all you do! And Happy Pastor Appreciation Month!!
