It’s been a while since a good before and after so let’s do it! Even your own Esti is always striving to better her skincare health. These two photos are taken 11 months apart. No Botox or fillers have been done during that time but I did amp up my daily homecare. I do have on my everyday Colorscience SPF and powder in both photos but no other makeup or filters.

I started to notice melasma creeping in so it was time for prescription strength from my dermatologist of Hydroquinone formulated properly for my skin. Although I still have a few areas that are taking their sweet time lighting, I’m super pleased how adding this into my everyday routine has benefited my skin.

In the treatment room, we create a personalized skincare routine using high quality ingredients and yes, even sometimes my clients and I are working along side their dermatologist to get them the best results. Hello beauties! Happy New Year! Today is the first day of 2024 back in the treatment room. I am setting new goals, making plans and hitting the road to accomplish professionally and personally. We should always be striving to be a better than last year, last month and even yesterday. I’m not one to make “resolutions” but one that makes plans on what to tackle for the next year. Do you set yourself goals like I do?

New year, new month, new day to make it a positive one. So get out there and be better. I know I will be working along side you to do the same.

Did you know being an esthetician is my second career?

I have always loved skincare but it wasn’t what I started out doing. I actually was a Legal Secretary for 14 years. I enjoyed my job at the law firm, learned a lot over those years and met one of my best friends. It wasn’t until doors were closed that others opened allowing me the opportunity to go back to school.

Finding your passion in life doesn’t always come when we are 18 years old. For some, it gets laid at your feet with a clear path, when we least expect it, years later. I’m so very grateful that I was allowed the opportunity to go back to school with a young family. What didn’t work out for me, truly worked out in mine and my family’s favor.

I took a leap of faith and look at what has occurred almost 8 years later. Forever grateful is an understatement. I have had so many love, support and allow me the opportunities in growing my business. When it is meant to be yours, the doors open and what seems like an upsetting situation ends up being one of the best things for your future.

Maybe you needed to hear this today. Maybe you have a situation that has seemed like a dead end. Maybe today is the day, you take a leap of faith to see what your future holds.

When someone asks if homecare truly matters…. This is one photo that I will always show.

I’ve seen this client 3 times this year. That is it. However, in June she asked me about homecare and we got her started on Mandelic Cleanser and ISO Moisturizer. Now, I realize this is not a lot, however, she told me she is a basic person and doesn’t do well with a lot of steps. When my client tells me that, I need the cleanser and moisturizer to do multi steps just to get them seeing results and feeling great.

This client walked into my treatment room this morning and WHOA!!!! She is brighter, acne breakouts are disappearing and she is more hydrated.

So if you ask me if homecare matters….. 110% It is what you do everyday and if it means good homecare that we work together on and you cannot come see me but every now and again, so be it. I’d rather you be using beneficial homecare.

📍I have exciting news! Silhouette Beauty & Skincare is moving to a new location in Winter Garden, FL in the upcoming weeks! This space will transform into my new spa oasis and I cannot wait to for you to immerse yourself in relaxation and tranquility.

💕I am so thankful for all of my clients and co-workers that I have met during my time at Bombshell. It has been such a blessing to be encouraged and supported over these last 5 1/2 years at the salon. Don’t think I will forget where I began my journey. Change for me is scary and out of my norm but we do our best growing outside our box. This is certainly outside my box.

💁🏼‍♀️ I’m working diligently behind the scenes to bring new treatments, modalities and learning lots of new and exciting things. Very elated to take this skincare journey to new heights and challenges.
