Sherri began her career in the medical field in 1988 as an Army Medic and Psychiatric Specialist. With a passion to serve and thirst for knowledge, she obtained her Bachelors of Science in nursing while working as a cardiac nurse at a local hospital. Sherri's journey into holistic therapies began after being diagnosed with several debilitating auto immune diseases, with her specialists advising that she would eventually lose the ability to walk. Determined not to be a statistic, she began studying alternative therapies and the lost art of Holistic medicines. Believing that science and nature should be combined to give the patient the best chance for health, healing, and happiness, she chose to (successfully) treat herself holistically when modern therapies started failing. Having seen first-hand the healing power of nature, Sherri was very excited for the opportunity to join the team at Skinfinity Therapeutics and use her nursing skills combined with her knowledge of essential nutrients to provide the community with the tools and treatments they need to support their wellness journey.
