The last few weeks i have made quite a few tshirt blankets and a few huggables along with some ornaments. Its been a very busy time

I am taking a break for a month or so to get some personal things done and then I will be back.

Another sbow day another blanket

Another tshirt blanket for a high school graduate. 😀

Made a few rag quilts for my daughters they are made from a soft flannel and are so warm and cozy.

Lola loves them too

Made a purse and wallet for my sister for her birthday using fabric of stuff we do together ljke sewing and puzzles and the ladybugs on the inside pocket are in honor of my mom 😀

Update on graduation blankets and memory animal/pillow orders

Hi everyone please note, I’m full right now for blankets for graduation delivery. I DO have a waiting list though so you can still message me if you want one and once these are completed I may be able to do more. If you want one then it’s better to be on the list as I will go in order of request received.

If you have a blanket with a later delivery date then May, then I can still take those orders for now. This may change also in the future.

I will continue to take orders for the memory animals HOWEVER only currently doing the puppy, bear or bunny because those are less time consuming for me. I will also do pillows!

Made a couple bears today for a friends family that lost their mother.

These were made out of nightgowns and some tshirts I hope they bring the family some ckmifet I live the colors

Originally we were going to make a bear but because it was a big saying I didn’t want to cut that I wanted to be able to read it so we decided on a pillow out of this T-shirt

Blanket finished for a young lady graduating this year these are mostly her team shirts shirts and a couple tshirts. We did the back in a soft red and white for school colors I hope she loves it!!

If you are looking to get one made I have space for one more and then i would have to reassess once I’m finished with the orders I have to see if I can do more than that

I love this rectangle pillow made from a Tommy banana shirt along with an ornament for a family that lost their dad. I hope this brings some comfort to the family.

We’ve had a lot of new people join our page over the last month or so so I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself and highlight what we do.

I put a collage of pictures together of some of the memory animals we make so you can see how even if you get a puppy or a dog the material you choose changes how your huggable comes out.

My name is Lisa and I started making my first huggable memory about two years ago after some family members and friends family members passed. The response was very positive so I posted them on Facebook created this page and it kind of snowballed from there.

As the response was so great I brought my sister cindi in to help and together we worked on each and every one to make sure all deadlines were met and everyone got their precious huggable memory.

We have met some awesome people along the way and really feel like in some small way we have helped so many by creating a lasting unique huggable memory. We take great pride and put everything we have into each one.

Please note that the best materials are cottons, flannels, sweatshirts, tshirts work too but stretch a little more. You can also use a blanket, sheets, anything really you just need about a yard of material which is a long sleeve large shirt or bigger. Having two or more items per animal gives a little contrast. A sweater that really stretched or nylon some polyesters just don’t work well although I try to use what you have I even Made some with some afghans ♥️

In addition to the animals we make pillows, ornaments, keychains and T-shirt blankets along with a lot of other sewn items: purses, wallets, car trash cans etc

We can turn a shirt into a tote bag if you didn’t want an animal the ideas are endless

I try to accommodate most then around times I’ve been know to make an animal or two within a few hours or a day if needed. If I can do it I will

Another great class today making quilted potholders!! Great way to spend an afternoon with my sister in law and other great quilters. Love how they turned out !!

Finished a big quilters tote today to carry all my sewing supplies when I travel love all the different sewing materials the flowers in the blue are buttons

I made 5 dogs and 3 bunnies for a family that lost their young mom/auntie way too soon.

I hope these HUGGABLES bring the kids/family some comfort.

Well here is the new huggable memory mouse. He/she is a work In progress but I think it is super cute and huggable.

There was a story behind the reason the family wanted a mouse. Grandma I guess always had a play mouse in her pocket and it was something silly she always did so I wanted to see if I could make them a mouse in grandmas honor. I hope they love them 🐭🙏♥️

What a difference a nose makes!! I think the little pom p does the trick and check out what my embroidery machine did yesterday!! So cool can’t wait to do more

I got asked if I made a huggable in the form of a mouse and the answer is no! I searched for a mouse pattern with no luck soooo I decided to make one myself

This is my first prototype. Needs a nose but what are your thoughts. 🐭
