Andrea Mowry’s new sweater Framed will be a great new addition to your hand knit wardrobe!

Designed for this year’s Rhinebeck, you have plenty of time to cast on and finish!

We have some suggested colors for you using Spincycle Dream State and Emma’s Yarn Washable Worsted!

The first color is for the hem, neck and cuffs, middle color is your background and the Spincycle is your colorwork pattern.

Use this guide to help determine what you will need of each color.

Spinning Wheel Class: Beginning Spinning – Spinning Your Christmas Yarn!

Join Shannon for a fun, beginning spinning class on July 27th from 11am - 2pm as part of our
Christmas in July offerings.

You will learn basic wheel parts, whorl ratios, and how to prepare fiber. Then we will get time to practice spinning, while learning about over-spinning and how to fix breaks. The class will end with learning how to do a 2 ply and finishing the yarn.

Supplies needed: spinning wheel, 2 yards of scrap yarn, and 2-4 oz fiber.

A limited number of wheels are available to rent for the class.

We will have some Emma’s Yarn Roving available for this class as well as our in stock Malabrigo Cloud and Nube.

Stephen West’s Bubbly Blossom Blanket Combos are here!

We have created combos using Emma’s Yarn Simply Spectacular DK for Stephen West’s Bubbly Blossom Blanket! 400 grams of each color

Bubble stitches and slip stitches form the blossoming colorwork motifs. These stitches are easy to knit and create a big colorful impact.

It’s the perfect size for a cozy couch blanket or a lovely decorative work of art for your bed.

Last night was the final meet up for our Andy KAL. Vickie, using yarn from her stash, not only finished this beautiful Andy, but was also the winner of the grand prize!!! A Four Purls project bag, an Emma’s Yarn theme pack, and Tropical Dilemma, a pattern by Laura Dobratz!!! NIIIICE!!!!! 🥳🧶🥳

Emotional Support Chickens are all the rage right now!

We created combos using Emma’s Yarn Practically Perfect Smalls for our Christmas in July Crochet A Long with Marsha on July 26th from 1pm – 4pm.

Marsha used a size E crochet hook for her Chicken in the Holly Combo pictured here.

Skills Needed: Basic Crochet knowlege of Chaining, and single crochet stitch.

So bring your pattern, yarn, darning needle, and crochet hook for a fun and clucky afternoon!

Join Donna for an After Thought Heel and Toe class for beginning sock knitters!

You will start with a knitted tube that will be done for you before class and learn how to add the heel and toe to create 2 pairs of socks.

Class will meet 2 consecutive days on Monday July 22nd from 1pm – 3pm and Tuesday July 23rd from 3pm – 5:30pm.
