Cakes by Brenda Lee is now located in Adwolfe Virginia. I am no longer in Florida. To all my Florida clients over the years I want to thank you all for your support over the years, it's meant so much. Great friendships developed over the years. Though I am certified in Food Handling through the "National Registry of Food Safety Professionals" and can provide you with my certification ...Cakes by Brenda Lee is a "Cottage Food Operation" which means under the the Florida Legislature enacted House Bill 7209 of 2011.... I am lawfully permitted in the state of Florida to make my cakes in my unlicensed home kitchen. I am not required to be licensed or to have a permit from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services , nor am I inspected by any state government entity. I am not subject as a Cottage Food Operation to Florida's food safety laws but I do practice them faithfully and I am a certified food safety handler...I am also certified through Wilton in Buttercream, Royal and Fondant Icings as well as Gumpaste...again I am happy to show anyone my credentials...All of my cakes are custom made to order...and I do require a 50% non refundable deposit at least 2 weeks in advance with the balance to be paid at the time of pick up...
