Let’s talk ✨COLOR FADING ✨One of the biggest struggles with redheads is color fading. It’s inevitable. Here are some helpful tips to help keep your color fresh for longer:
- cool water washes. It doesn’t have to be FREEZING but cooler water is deff helpful when it comes to preserving your color.
- depositing shampoo + cond. ! I use gemlites in color fire opal every few washes, to help maintain my color.
- lower the heat on your hot tools! This goes for any hair color. Regular use of High heat will fade your hair color significantly faster !
- always use a heat protectant
-go for maintenance glosses between your touch ups.
- embrace the fade ! I personally love when my hair fades a little 🧡 •
