Everyday is work from home day for your Wisconsin cranberry growers who live and work on their land. With many being fifth and even sixth generation, these growers and their families have called these marshes home for more than a hundred years!

Friday, Sept 24, 1937:
Owner of J.J. Emmerick Cranberry Company (Gaynor Cranberry Co was a principal stakeholder) was quoted, “When talking of the Growers’ (he’s referring to Wisconsin Cranberries) and Sales Organizations (he’s referring to the Wisconsin Cranberry Sales Company that was part of Eatmor Cranberries- our Nation’s first Cooperative before Ocean Spray), I shouldn’t like to forget to give credit to those early pioneers of the industry who have made present day conditions what they are, What Pioneers? Judge Gaynor, M. O. Potter, S. N. Whittlesey and E.P. Arpin should go on the list; and we mustn’t forget the women who stood shoulder to shoulder with their husbands!”

Such grand insight and we share his sentiment, except daughters don’t need to marry in order to have value or impact on our farms. Way to step when when we need you, Jenna Dempze! 💪🏽

Gaynor Cranberry Co. is 147 years old, established in 1876 by John and James Gaynor. Thank you to the generations before us who have paved the way and given us a beautiful cranberry industry to thrive in and protect for our next generation of cranberry folk who make up our Cranberry Community! ❤️🔴💪🏽

Please spread the word to support farmers and stay off their harvesting farms unless you’re invited.  A car in the flood ditch or a cranberry bed is a biohazard nightmare. ☠️
