It’s an honor to celebrate 50 years of impact with Good Shepherd Housing, a vital force in addressing the affordable housing crisis in Fairfax County, VA.

I had the privilege of presenting HJ282 with in recognition of their half-century of service.

July is Month in Virginia! Thanks to HJ26, the bill I introduced in the 2024 session.

In the United States, an estimated 26 million women between the ages of 15 and 50 years old suffer from having uterine fibroids.

Join me this month as I work to raise awareness about this prevalent condition.

As women age, the prevalence of uterine fibroids increases — with more than 70% of caucasian women and more than 84% of African American women experiencing uterine fibroids by the age of 49 years old. Left untreated, uterine fibroids can lead to reproductive problems including infertility, miscarriage, and early labor.

Raising awareness about uterine fibroids is paramount to timely recognition, and timely recognition of uterine fibroids is paramount to saving women’s lives.

Thank you Mom for attending the event on my behalf! A day of power and unity for women to continue to be change agents in our communities! 💖

We're continuing our month-long celebration of -- celebrating some of the outstanding LGBTQ+ leaders we've helped elect -- with Rozia "J.R." Henson.

A community leader, activist, and grassroots organizer, Rozia became the first Black out gay man elected to the Virginia state legislature in last year's election!

Eight years ago, 49 lives were lost at nightclub in Orlando, FL, marking the deadliest mass shooting of LGBTQ+ people in US history.

Today, we honor their lives and persist in our fight to disarm hate and secure a world where all people can live freely. 🏳️‍🌈

I’m proud to have been named an by ! This year we made great progress towards lowering prescription costs, removing surprise junk fees, and establishing a Paid Medical Leave program in Virginia. Let’s get the job done!

The House Appropriations Committee will hold a meeting today, Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at
10:00 a.m.

One key item on our agenda will be
a staff presentation on the Virginia Military Survivors and Dependents Education Program
(VMSDEP). Staff will provide an update on the program and the challenges addressed by the
Committee as part of its budget deliberations during the 2024 Session.
