We are happy to announce the launch of another school year at our school in Los Brasiles. The Pastors and staff in the community have been working hard to serve the 437 kids that are now registered at our school. We wish them a blessed and successful 2022!

We would like to extend a huge congratulations to the entire Moreno Family on the marriage of their daughter, Zamari this past weekend. Zamari has been serving the school since she was a little girl, and we are so happy for her! Felicidades!

The Pastors in Los Brasiles held an event this weekend to help restore and strengthen marriages in the community. Los felicitamos por su esfuerzo y amor por las familias de este bella comunidad! Adelante!!

School year started in Nicaragua this week. We now have 403 kids registered at our school in Los Brasiles. Help us pray for the health of our staff and students as we navigate 2021 with the pandemic still quite a challenge. With God’s help, we will overcome.

Great to see another year come to an end at our school in Los Brasiles. Congratulations to the Pastors, teachers and students. The pandemic and hurricanes added extra challenges this year, but our staff team made it work. We are grateful for their dedication and hard work, and for God’s provision for our school.

Local government officials came by our school today with a medical team to assist those taking shelter. Today, we were also able to put together basic food bags and delivered to families in need. God Bless the Pastors, their families and all those who helped. In general, the clean up and recovery process is just beginning.

Last night at our school, about 50 people took shelter there. The Pastors and their family helped to feed them and distribute water. Local government officials did deliver small mattresses and provided 2 police officers to ensure safety at the school.

Please keep the people of Central America in your prayers. Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador and as far as Guatemala were hit by two hurricanes back to back. These are imagines from Nicaragua, which today suffered extensive flooding throughout the country. Our school in Los Brasiles is currently housing 50 people whose homes were flooded or destroyed. The folks have been showing up all day and the number is expected to rise overnight. The Pastors, their kids and members of the church are helping to care for them. We are heartbroken to share the news about one of our staff members at our school in Los Brasiles. Yoswel Ramirez Chavez passed away suddenly yesterday. He was loved by our children, staff and so many in the community. We are comforted to know that he is in the presence of our heavenly Father. Our most sincere condolences go out to his family. We appreciate your prayers for the staff team as they deal with the loss of a great friend...

Tomorrow, we will officially inaugurate our new chapel building. We still have a few more things to finish up, but it was ready enough to hold our graduation today. The building will be complete in the next month.

So grateful for the teachers and staff working in Los Brasiles. Teaching here is not an easy task, but they work very hard and do a good job. Huge thanks to Pastor Mario and our school Director Sayda.

We have been in Nicaragua this week to be part of our school’s graduation in Los Brasiles. We celebrated in out brand new chapel building at the school ground!

This week, we held our 5th graduation at our school in Los Brasiles. It was a time to rejoice and celebrate at the school and throughout the community. Congratulations to the students, parents and teachers for their work and effort during this year. We are also blessed for the volunteers and financial partners who have made this year possible. Ebenezer - thus far, the LORD has helped us!!

We would like to wish our dear "Pastora" a happy birthday! There are no words to describe her love, dedication and desire to serve the children of Los Brasiles. May God Bless your life abundantly today and always!

Relief for Volcano de Fuego victims - Guatemala

We would like to let all our friends and ministry Partners know that we have been contact with the Pastors in Los Brasiles. With the civil unrest happening in Nicaragua, there was an outbreak of looting that took place at various super markets, businesses and schools. Several schools in Los Brasiles were looted for their food. There was a crowd that attempted to break in to our school, but it was quickly disrupted by the Pastors and Parents. For the moment, things have calmed down. There is a group of Parents spending the night at the school grounds to keep watch. Please keep the Country in prayers, its people and the many Missionaries and non-profit organizations that provide much needed help and support to Nicaragua.

Great start to our 2018 School Year! Pastors Mario, Sayda and the team gave a welcome to our students and parents today. This year, we have nearly 400 registered kids.

Last week, all schools in Nicaragua participated in various celebrations across the Country to commemorate their independence day. Here are a few pictures of our kids, teachers and parents marching in the City parade and in Los Brasiles. (The school's official name is "Escuela Cristiana Nuevo Pacto")....

Roads in Los Brasiles are a huge mess! Our bus got stuck near the school and fortunately the materials delivery truck was able to tow us out. Awesome start to the day.... at least we had a good number of spectators!

After finally making it to the school, we were able to participate in the feeding program, and shared with the kids in some of the classes.

We thought we could get away from dirt and shovels, but they seem to follow us around! We were moving dirt to help level some areas damaged by the rains...

The rain in Los Brasiles was so hard today that we just had to take shelter at one of the buildings and wait it out. Half an hour later the kids were out playing like nothing happened. They are so resilient!

Visiting a home today where a small business manufactures shoes. We are placing an order to donate a new pair to every child at our school and helping the local economy at the same time!

In Nicaragua this week for another week of service. We are blessed to have our dear friends Jim & Robin who TODAY 7/17/17 celebrate their 7 year wedding anniversary! Thank you guys for sharing your special day with us in love and service to others. Happy Anniversary!
