A message from our Girls Basketball Coach
Greetings Parents and Students!
Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Craig Boothe. Please feel free to call me Coach or Coach Boothe. The 2024-2025 girls basketball season will begin its’ fall conditioning on September 4th, 2025. On September 3rd, 2024, we will conduct a student-athlete interest meeting beginning at 2:45pm. The meeting will be for approximately 1 hour.
The pre-season conditioning program will vary between 2 or 3 day workouts. The players will be preparing for the upcoming season and attendance is extremely important. We will be visiting our offensive and defensive concepts. This is not an open-gym, where we roll out the balls and let the players just run up and down the court. Everything we do is structured and timed.
In order to participate, we will need the following:
•VHSL Physical (signed by the doctor) – this form can be retrieved via the website or vhl.org.
•Concussion Training (signed by parent and student-athlete). This can also be accessed via the Forest Park Athletics website.
I look forward to working with you this year and seeing soon!
Mark your calendars for FBLA's Nothing Bundt Cakes fundraiser on September 13. Mention Forest Park and 15% of sales will go to FBLA.

🟢🐻🔵WE HAVE A NEW BRUIN!!!🔵🐻🟢
We would like to welcome and introduce the newest member of our Bruin family, Coach Coy Dubik, who will be leading our Forest Park Boys Lacrosse program this year!
Hailing from Syracuse, NY, Coach Dubik grew up playing lacrosse in one of the top lacrosse areas in the country and still plays in adult leagues today. Coach Dubik brings over 15 years of coaching experience, ranging from youth to varsity levels, to the Bruins. In addition, Coach Dubik has been teaching in PWCS for 7 years, will teach History at Forest Park, and is eager to be part of the rich Bruin Lacrosse community. As for his staff, he brings a group of young coaches from around Northern Virginia who have played at the collegiate level.
His goal is to ensure athletes have the very best experience and develop themselves on all fronts because “the game is bigger than all of us, and lacrosse has the ability to provide us invaluable life lessons.” He values passion, integrity, and an integrated school-family approach to the program. “I’m super excited to share these values and watch the players grow into well-rounded young men!
