This Sunday, July 7, Kids Sunday School will not be held - kids ages 3-completed Grade 5 will all stay in the service. Pastor Luke will be preaching on the passage about Daniel and the Lions Den out of Daniel 6:11-28. Nursery care for age 0-2 will be offered during the service.

This Sunday, in honor of so many kids' volunteers celebrating the holiday with family members, we will be only having nursery and 3s-PreK programming during the church service. All elementary students will be encouraged to stay in the full service and enjoy Pastor Luke's sermon on Freedom Fighters from Galatians 5:1-12.

Nursery will be full service as usual and Preschoolers will be dismissed at the normal time but will go straight to their classroom, 108, instead of heading upstairs first. If you have any questions feel free to reach out and also if you haven't found a place to serve and connect yet at New Life I would love to see if Kids' programming is a good fit for you!

Twists & Turns VBS will be held at New Life Church July 31-August 4, 2023, 9am-Noon! Spin the spinner, beat the clock, skip ahead, level up, and play to win! You’ll need to bring your A-game for this VBS. Twists & Turns is a fantastical celebration of games of all kinds. From classic tabletop games to video games and more, kids will play their way through VBS while learning that Jesus guides them through all the twists and turns of their lives. They’ll find that even when they mess up it’s never “game over.”

VBS is for kids *age 3 (must be potty trained) through Grade 5.
*3 year olds of New Life Church attendees only are accepted due to volunteer availability. Register 3 year olds by May 7!

VBS Kids Registration will close this Monday, July 11 - nearly 170 kids are already registered! Thanks to all who have already volunteered to serve! We still need many support volunteers for this energizing week of sharing God’s truth with kids! VBS Spark Studios will be held at NLC August 1-5, 9:00am-Noon! Spark imagination and kick creativity into high gear at Spark Studios. Kids will learn that God’s creativity didn’t stop in Genesis. The Master Artist is working to redeem, reclaim, and transform us–His creation–to the design He planned for us. Kids will see the beautiful truth that they are God’s workmanship as they learn to use their talents to bring glory to Him.

Family Night July 11 - Don't miss it! 🤩‼️

Kids Ministries Family Night - July 11
All families who have kids involved and/or who serve in Kids Ministries - join us for a Family Night on Monday, July 11 from 5:30 to 7:30pm in Eagle Court! We will have food, inflatables and activities for families to enjoy together. Feel free to invite friends to join! We do request that adults provide supervision for their children. Can't wait to see you there!

The prophets in the Old Testament told about the Day of the Lord, a day when God would come to judge the world and save His people. Paul said that in the future, on the Day of the Lord, Jesus will return for His people and judge the wicked. Believers live with hope, knowing that Jesus will come again.

All of salvation—from first trusting to faithful obedience—is God’s gift to us through Jesus. The Holy Spirit changes our minds and hearts so that we want to obey God, and He gives us power to obey. Our righteousness does not come through faith in ourselves but through faith in Jesus.

Lydia, the jailer, and many others were saved because they heard the gospel and believed in Jesus. Paul and Silas preached the same message to all people, no matter who they were: “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.”

The church leaders met in Jerusalem to answer a tough question: Can a person be saved by faith alone or is something more needed? The early church agreed that because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, He alone is all we need to be saved.
