The Mental Health Clinic, Youth Prevention, PAPP, and Pathways to Health teamed up to host the Family Fun Fest, July 14th at the Hispanic Family Center. We had campers from The Neighborhood Center as well as families from the community come and enjoy food, music, and activities. Versus Mobile Gaming Studio provided cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones, and different video games for the kids to enjoy as well as a bounce house and face painting! Thank you to our vendors; Miguel's Pharmacy, Cooper Hospital, Catholic Partnership Schools, Health Women Healthy Family, Elevance Healthcare, and Virtua!

Los YMCA de todo el estado de NJ se están asociando con Seashore Fruit & Produce Co. para distribuir cajas de alimentos de emergencia a las familias necesitadas durante la pandemia de COVID-19. Las cajas contienen frutas y verduras frescas como manzanas, papas, cebollas y más. Las cajas de comida son GRATIS. Como la seguridad del personal externo, los voluntarios y la comunidad son de suma importancia para nosotros, siga el siguiente protocolo de "recogida" al recoger su producto:
* Quédate en tu vehículo
* Pop abre tu camión. El personal pondrá sus productos en su maletero
para ti.
* 1 caja proporcionada por vehículo (para ayudar a tantas familias como sea posible, solo podemos proporcionar 1 caja por automóvil, sin excepciones)

YMCAs across the state of NJ are partnering with Seashore Fruit & Produce Co. to distribute emergency food boxes to families in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. Boxes contain fresh fruits and vegetables such as apples, potatoes, onions, and more. Food boxes are FREE. As the safety of out staff, volunteers, and community are of the utmost importance to us, please follow the below “pick up” protocol when picking up your produce:
*Stay in your vehicle
*Pop open your truck. Staff will put your produce in your trunk
for you.
* 1 Box provided per vehicle (in order to help as many families as possible, we can only provide 1 box per car no exceptions)
When: June 16, 2020
Time: 11am-12pm ( Please note: All boxes were distributed in 30 minutes at our last event)

Families In Motion
Families In Motion (FIM) is a multi-county, multi-agency collaborative led by the Hispanic Family Center of Southern New Jersey, Inc., and includes the Center for Human Services and Literacy New Jersey. These organizations have come together as a group of forward thinking and high caliber agencies and organizations to form an intensive and holistic family building program that serves working families in Cumberland and Gloucester Counties.
Unique to the Pascale Sykes Foundation’s model of intervention is the concept that whole families, consisting of adults and children, should be working together to determine the goals and intended outcomes resulting from their engagement with a service agency. Eligible FIM families have two responsible, committed adults who serve as family leaders. Through FIM, these families receive in-home family coaching support from a FIM Family Development Coach, who serves as a resource to the families in achieving their SMART goals.
In line with the Pascale Sykes Foundation’s Whole Family Approach, FIM has identified one overarching goal with three core areas of focus and corresponding goals and outcomes to guide its work. FIM’s overarching goal is to provide families with the tools to develop self-sufficient and sustainable strategies to achieve their goals and become stronger members of their communities. The three core areas of focus are economic stability, healthy well-being, and civic engagement.
