DWI checkpoints serve as an effective measure to detect and deter persons from driving under the influence of alcohol and/or controlled dangerous substances.

Re: Arrest of Christopher Fuscellaro for Contractor Fraud

On Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at approximately 8:30 A.M., Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes and Insurance Fraud Units, Washington Township Police Department, and Mantua Township Police Department arrested 32-year-old Christopher Fuscellaro of Mantua Township without incident outside his residence on Timbercrest Drive as the result of an eight month-long investigation. The investigation was in relation to defrauding an elderly Washington Township victim of approximately $341,000. Between September 7, 2022, and November 16, 2023, Fuscellaro portrayed himself as a licensed contractor and utilized various means of fraud and deception to defraud the elderly victim. Christopher Fuscellaro operated under the names “Fuscellaro Construction” and “Four All Seasons Construction LLC.”

Fuscellaro has been charged with the following offenses:

Theft: 2C:20-3a
Theft by Deception: 2C:20-4
Theft by Required Disposition: 2C:20-9
Unlicensed Contractor: 56:8-138A
(3) Counts of Insurance Fraud: 2C:21-4.6A

Fuscellaro was processed and lodged in the Salem County Correctional Facility pending further proceedings.

Despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of their rights as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State Law.

This investigation remains ongoing. The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office encourages any witnesses with information regarding these crimes or who believe they have been victims of Christopher Fuscellaro to call Detective Alex Phillips at 856-384-5529.
