Position Overview:
Immediate opening for a shop technician locksmith. This job would include cutting keys, programming remotes and keys for vehicles, servicing locks and door hardware, managing storefront inventory, scheduling service calls with customers. Must be trainable and willing to learn - 1 to 2 years of experience is helpful but we will train the right candidate.
Hours
8am-5pm
Responsibilities include:
• Duplicate keys, cut and program vehicle keys and remotes, pin up and repair locks.
• Answering phone calls and scheduling Jobs
• Taking in and Placing order for parts and materials
• Keeping track of stock for parts and materials
• Preparing hardware for road technicians, (cutting keys, pinning cylinder and cores)
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by staff and owner.
• Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:
• Must complete drug test and background check
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to protect and handle highly confidential information.
• Ability to effectively handle interpersonal relationships and sensitive issues.
• Demonstrated experience with multitasking, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work 8am-5pm.
• Must provide your own reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to push, pull and lift at least 50lbs.
• Must have knowledge of tools.

Experience
• Locksmith for 1 year (preferred)
• 3 years retail and customer experience
Education
• High School Diploma or GED
