πŸŽ… πŸš’ SANTA IS COMING through Woodbury on the fire truck NEXT WEEK!!! πŸš’ πŸŽ…

We have received the official route details. Attached are three tracking links for each Ward Santa will visit with firefighters from Woodbury. Check the links to see where your street falls. The tracks will go LIVE at 6:30 p.m. on the night Santa is in your Ward.

Ward 1: Red Bank to Hessian –
Monday, December 11, 2023: https://caltopo.com/m/6H1R3

Ward 2: South Evergreen to Red Bank –
Tuesday, December 12, 2023: https://caltopo.com/m/PGAAU

Ward 3: Broad Street to Warren Street –
Wednesday, December 13, 2022: https://caltopo.com/m/C173E

Some things to remember:

1.) These are firefighters on duty and volunteering their time. They may have to stop to answer an EMERGENCY.

2.) If you live on a dead end, cul de sac, or limited access street, keep an eye on the tracker and come out to a main intersection to see Santa.

3.) If anything changes with our plans, stay tuned to social media (Facebook and Instagram). We will keep you posted. Santa doesn’t like to get his suit wet before the big day.

4.) For the safety of everyone please do not approach the moving sled, come to the curb side and say Hello!

And as always listen for the SIRENS!

Messaging around smoke alarms and batteries is more nuanced now that newer smoke alarms often feature 10-year batteries. For those ending tomorrow, change clocks and check batteries, only if needed. Test smoke alarms monthly. For more information on changing clocks and batteries: http://nfpa.social/O9Vw50Q40V8

The Woodbury City Police Department will be partnering with the American Red Cross to host a community blood drive on Monday October 23rd 2003 from 1pm to 6pm. The event will be held at American Legion Post 133 in Woodbury. According to the Red Cross, there is a serious blood shortage that has been going on for the last few years since COVID. Every unit we donate at our blood drive can help save up to three lives. Each recipient of that blood donation has his or her own story. He or she could be an accident or trauma victim, cancer patient, a mother giving birth, a premature baby, a transplant recipient or surgical candidate. Our impact goes beyond that patient – it is multiplied by the impact it has on that person’s loved ones who are thankful for the unit we donated. Please consider signing up to help out for a good cause. We still have spots to fill and need your help!
