For my client here, we did two huge new things for her, which were going short and doing a color tone she's never tried before. And guess what, she loves it!! It was the color combo she never realized she needed!

I did my favorite highlights combo of babylights and bold weaves for pop of color while keeping it subtle.

Ash blonde highlights non styled- straight hair.
My client asked for something subtle but bold. So, I did a mix of bold ribbon highlights and babylights through the hair.
Root blend for a soft grow out and toned with 50g9P+10g9AG from RSEQ

Yall, I haven't had a crazy ass lift like this in a while. I was shooketh when I saw those red ass ends!
But yall know my favorite thing to do! Double lift that s**t! I reapplied fresh mixed lightener with 40 vol and let it process another 45 minutes.
It pulled out all the red, and I was able to work with what she lifted with.
The next step is all about how you formulate to blend all the uneven lift.
My client and I were very happy with the results knowing that her ends lifted so red to begin with!

1.) Went on roots down about 3 inches with equal parts 6GI+6NB+6T
(Processed 10 minutes)
2.) Went directly onto the demarcation line with 25g4ABN+5g1B
(Processed 10 minutes)
3.) Merged the first and second formula together and dragged down
(Processed 8 minutes)
4.) In the shampoo bowl as I rinse, I emulsify the colors into the ends
5.) Client leaves with bomb ass blend! 😍

Let me just remind yall that less is more!!
Subtle placement, but a bold contrast will make your hair look blonder than you think!

By doing fewer foils, I cut down on our appointment time. I focus the foils where they're more important, like around her face and hair line. We don't need to get heavy with the highlights to look blonder.

All I did was add strategic low lights in her hair to create a Lived in balayage look.

Balayage highlights to refresh her hair!
I'm trying a new technique with my balayage highlight placement, and yall, it was so easy and took less time! When I do it again, I'll have to record it and show it!
