Yes, it’s a good idea to avoid wearing your hair in the same spot every time you put it in a ponytail or a bun. Some other tips for protecting your hair when wearing an in a ponytail are:

🖤 Use a serum: applying serum before tying your hair up, can help the tie glide over your hair without pulling or snagging it.
🖤 Make sure your hair is dry: wet hair is weaker and we’re prone to dense and snags and dry hair.
🖤 Don’t tie too tight: tight ponytails can cause breakage, hair loss, and headaches.
🖤 Take breaks: give your hair a break from tight hairstyles and try different styles like braiding or putting it in a low ponytail or bun.

HAIR TIP TUESDAY: It is so important to use a mineral-based sunscreen when wearing extensions! To prevent sunscreen stains, avoid letting your extensions come into direct contact with the sunscreen. Pull your hair up and away from your body after applying sunscreen.
