CMI® Limited Co. is pleased to highlight the first phase of the Kiawah River Development Trip Wall Project. Phase 1 included 1,800 linear feet of ShoreGuard® Flat Panel (FP-475) vinyl sheet pile in Woodgrain Brown. Our partner B&B Marine Construction was the contractor and the lead engineer on phase 1 was Jon Guerry Taylor & Associates, Inc. Once completed the Trip Wall will provide the Kiawah River development over 3,000 linear feet of protection from wave action during flood events.

Mantle Industries®, CMI®’s Washington-based, aluminum fabrication business unit, recently completed an expansion that included a high-performance floating dock system and gangway with security gate at Paddlers Dock in the Gig Harbor Marina in Washington state. Ferreira’s Team Blue used CMI’s UltraComposite™ Sheet Piling to construct the seawall at the Circle Bay Yacht Club. Moving its softball program from NCAA Division II to D-I this year, The Tarleton State program needed to upgrade its 25-year-old facility. Last summer CMI Limited Co. shipped a ChampionWall® athletic fencing system, made with interlocking vinyl sheet panels, that replaced the faded, windscreen covered chain link in the outfield at Tarleton Softball Complex. The Challenger Green ChampionWall, finished with a VersaCap®, was installed by Acme Fence Services Inc., and the remodeled paid instant dividends for the Lady Texans. Tarleton won its first 10 home games and finished the season 30-25 and earned a bid to the National Invitational Softball Championships where it earned its first-ever postseason victory at the D-I level. CMI Limited Co. would like to congratulate our customer, , in St. Petersburg, FL., on a successful sailing season. The Tritons began the year with a new GatorDock® with aluminum decking at the Doyle Sailing Center. The new dock contains 26 custom aluminum boat cradles and four roller internal pile guides to concrete piles. The new facility helped propel the co-ed squad to a third-place finish out of 20 teams at the Sailpack Intercollegiate Regatta on April 23-24.
