Meet Dr. Jacek Czerwinski (Dr. Jay)!

We are excited to announce the newest addition to the office, Dr. Jay!

Dr. Jay is originally from Ohio. He moved down to Georgia after completing his undergraduate degree at Michigan State University and receiving his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. Dr. Jay then attended Life University where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic.

His passion for chiropractic started at a young age but developed after having a snowboarding accident in high school and receiving care from his chiropractic mentor in Ohio. He got to experience the power of chiropractic and the approach to holistic care first hand, which only drove his passion more.

When Dr. Jay is not treating the community you can find him on the golf course, reading books, working out and spending time with his two blue heelers, Bourbon and Kaya, and his fiancée Dr. Alexa Kubulak.

25 years in practice - a lifetime of stories 💜

The babies that were conceived under chiropractic care in my office, and the kids we cared for through all their sports injuries and growing pains, now drive themselves and their siblings to get adjusted.

So many miracles in the office - a 3 month old baby girl and 5 year old boy both had their hearing restored. Women who were labeled infertile who went on to have multiple healthy babies, three sets of twins, countless newborns and all of the wonderful home visits to adjust mom and baby and sometimes the whole family right in their bedroom. A woman who’d been disabled for 25 years due to a fall at work who regained her ability to function normally after just 3 months of care. Colic and ear infections, bed wetting and incontinence in adults - resolved under care. Our extra special kids who come in and light up the whole office. Our wonderful “curvy girls” with their unique scoliosis patterns that have responded so well over the years. The families and doulas who show up at my home sometimes in the middle of the night for adjustments.

Each and every person I’ve ever been blessed to connect with - you are part of my story and I hope I’ve been a positive part of yours! So many have become the extended family we so desperately needed being here so far away from home - helping with my babies and taking care of Isabella for us - thank you Becky and Brian, and Randy and Nancy for always saying yes! Tammy and Tina and Karina and every team player and intern who has become family over the years. Thank you to all of you!

In March of 1999, I took my last final on a Thursday, sold my house on Friday, moved to Tampa and on Monday took 60 X-Rays, I adjusted 186 people on Wednesday, 168 on Thursday and went home to cry because my hands hurt so bad. There’s been a whole lot of learning and growing over the years. From Florida to the office in New York my dad built to the beautiful building he built in Georgia that has been a place to raise my babies and help our community. Plus the honor to teach at Life for the last 15 years and travel to speak and impact doctors around the world.

I’ve adjusted through both pregnancies, 42 1/2 weeks with Anthony still seeing patients, in labor with Alessia and brought them both into the office with me a few days later to continue serving. So many stories patients still share about these two running around the office all these years.

If I’ve ever taken care of your family, taught your class, spoken at an event you attended, mentored you or had the pleasure of helping you along your journey - please know you have touched my heart and soul and helped me create a life I am so blessed to live. Chiropractic has been so good to me. I can only hope my contributions make a difference.

From her early days in gymnastics and dance to becoming a competitive athlete and eventually a renowned chiropractor, Dr. Cathy's journey has been nothing short of inspiring. As a high school student breaking stereotypes by introducing weight training to her peers, Dr. Cathy's passion for fitness and wellness was evident from the start. Her dedication led her to compete in aerobics and fitness competitions, achieving remarkable success by ranking 15th in the nation for physique in the Ms. Fitness National competition.

But Dr. Cathy's journey didn't stop there. Recognizing her calling to help others on a larger scale, she pursued higher education at Life University, earning a Bachelor’s in Nutrition and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Since 1999, she's been in private practice, empowering families to achieve wellness goals and raise healthy, medication-free children. She holds licenses in 3 states, has been in practices in Woodstock since 2001, and has been adjunct faculty at Life University since 2008.

The nervous system consists of your brain, the spinal cord, and the spinal nerves.

Chiropractors look to the spine because this is where your nervous system is housed. When a chiropractor is looking at your spine, they are paying attention to how your nervous system is functioning.
This means they are taking X-rays and using different diagnostic tools to see if there is any interference on how your nervous system is working. If there is a misalignment in the spine, that means there is pressure on your nervous system, not allowing it to properly function! By adjusting the spine, chiropractors remove this interference. If your nervous system is free of interference, then your body can function properly!
