Nightclub turned overnight shelter: Wooster to open new center for growing unhoused population The shelter will be open year-round during the daytime and will also serve as an emergency overnight shelter in the colder months. Wooster nonprofit organizations will be on hand to connect individuals to social services.

We arw almost out of these essentials 😱 On your next outing, if you spot one or ✌️extras, you can drop them off at the brown door 🚪on the side of our building. No need to knock, just leave them on the counter inside!

We have a lot of people looking for Back to School Programs! Here is one happening this weekend!

Excited to announce our 4th annual free school supplies and haircut give back event on August 18th from 10am to 6pm at our shop on 679 Portage Rd in Wooster! We will also have a bouncy house and face painting for the kids. We will be accepting donations for school supplies leading up to the event, so feel free to drop them off during shop hours. Can't wait to see everyone there! 📚💇‍♂️🎨

Head Start has openings for eligible families!
The Head Start program operates Monday through Thursday for 7 hours per day. Meals and snacks are provided at no cost.
Center locations include: Brunswick, Medina, Wadsworth, Lodi, West Salem, Rittman, Orrville, West Salem, Wooster and home based options

School Supplies Giveaway!

Wayne County Public Library Main Campus is hosting a Summer Perler Beads Activity on Thursday, August 1st from 10:30 am to noon in their Children's Department. Join us for an Outreach Event to meet our staff and learn more about the services we offer. We will also have a school supplies giveaway !! 💚

If you signed up for our 👩‍🏫 Back to School Program and scheduled an appointment BUT missed some essential 📃 paperwork (Social Security Card, Proof of Address and 💲 Income), please provide it ASAP as we are missing quite a few.

AUGUST IS CHILD SUPPORT AWARENESS MONTH
Wayne County Public Library- Main Branch- is hosting a Summer Perler Beads activity on Thursday, August 1st from 10:30 am to Noon. Meet Wayne County Child Support-CSEA employees to learn about our services. Also, we will be giving away SCHOOL SUPPLIES to all school aged children in attendance.

We are 🎉 Celebrating a new POP-UP FOOD PANTRY made possible in our area by the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank!

With Todd's help, they donated all of their extras 🥫🍝🌽 to our food pantry earlier this month and we are truly grateful for their kindness and support!

🤗 Together, we made a difference ! Our 🎒 Back to School sign-up last week was made possible by your selfless contributions! We are so grateful for your support!!

Our tan donation shed beside our building is open Tues - Thurs.➡️ 9am to 4:30pm. Just place donations in the bins! Easy Peasy!

Please note that Friday will be a half day for services 🥫👕as we transform our Lobby to accommodate Back to School Sign-up stations!
